We have people coming to St. Mary s on a regular basis who need a form of some kind filled out and, when we check our records, we find that they are not registered parishioners. Before we could fill out and sign the form, you have to be a registered active parishioner for at least six months. The best way to know that you are registered is the fact that you receive collection envelopes, either on a regular basis or only at Christmas or Easter. PLEASE save yourselves and the parish staff a great deal of time and trouble come to the rectory office and register!

3 THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST JUNE 3, 2018 This weekend, we are honored to welcome Bishop Flesey back to St. Mary s for the Sacrament of Confirmation. This year, 79 young members of our parish will be sealed with the gifts of Holy Spirit. For these young people, this sacrament is meant to be the start of new, more mature practice of their Catholic faith. Sadly, many youngsters see Confirmation as their graduation from Religious Education and the end of any real participation in the life of the Church. This coming Friday, 24 youngsters will graduate from Transfiguration Academy, the school formed by the merger of St. Mary s School with the schools at St. John s and the Church of the Ascension. These youngsters know that graduation means one phase of their education is completed and new, more exciting phase of their education is about to begin. If only those being confirmed could see Confirmation as the same sort of transition. Let us pray for those graduating from Transfiguration Academy this Friday and for all those graduating this spring. May they keep learning and growing in knowledge and wisdom. May they always use the gifts and talents that God has given them for the betterment of our world and may they be open to the guidance of the Spirit as they move on to wonderful, new adventures. More importantly, let us pray for those who are to be confirmed this weekend. May they see this celebration of God s love as an invitation to better know God and to be better serve the Church. May we all seek ways to better incorporate these youngsters into the life of our parish. May we all use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to make this a better world. Fr. I said my prayers. I talked with parents about lesson. I did laundry and groceries. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Stewardship Prayer Dear Lord, O Divine Giver of all gifts, grant us the daily graces we need to follow closely in the footsteps of Jesus in the way we live out our lives and make use of our gifts. Daily, may we renew with You our small part of the world by allowing Your will to be accomplished in and through us. Help us to trust in Your love for us and to grow in our fidelity and relationship with You. We thank You for the trust You place in us as stewards of our personal gifts. May the Holy Spirit guide us in placing our time, talent and treasure at the service of each other so that together we may faithfully witness the Christian message and thus become your holy people. Amen.

New Parent Meetings St. Mary s PACT/Religious Education Program Children grades 1-8 who are not attending a Catholic school should be enrolled in PACT/Religious Education with their families.
