As well, a new version of the TV s electronic portal will be inaugurated in the attendance and under the auspices of the Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon Gabriel Caccia and the board members topped by Bishop Roland Abou Jaoudé. Between the Pentecosts Tele Lumiere blew out its 20 th candle and Noursat celebrated its 7 th anniversary in 2010 Pentecost during an ecumenical mass at Our Lady of Lebanon Basilica- Harissa presided by Bishop Roland Abou Jaoudé, with the assistance of bishops and priests of several churches. As well, musical concerts were organized at Casino of Lebanon. An ecumenical mass will be as well celebrated on Sunday June 12 th at 12h15 midday, Beirut timing at St Elias Church- Antelias presided by Bishop Antoine Nabil al-andari with the assistance of the churches representatives in Lebanon. Indeed, Tele Lumiere begins its 21 st year; Noursat celebrates its 8 th Anniversary with the newborn satellite Noursat Al Shabab with a paternal blessing to proclaim the Annunciation all over the world. Nour Al Sharq will soon join them. It is a new satellite for all Christian communities, displaying their history, rites and customs, visiting their convents, parishes and highlighting their most important activities. Tele Lumiere in the Digital Media Tele Lumiere increased its broadcasting hours enabling its large audience in the world of immigration to watch new programs in English and Spanish of about 12 hours per week, launched the Online Streaming, allowing the viewers in the Americas to watch live programs for free on the TV website and on You Tube, displaying a group of video clips and documentaries of Tele Lumiere Production. In addition, it allowed everyone, through its activated pages on Facebook and Twitter to follow up our latest news and share with us their opinions and suggestions. 2 A Rebirth Never limited to a place, and aiming to reach every home looking for the Light in Lebanon and all over the world, Tele Lumiere is born again in its homeland Lebanon and this time in: Rome On October 22 nd 2010, Tele Lumiere saw the light in Rome, meters away from the Vatican and opened its new center, with the cooperation of H2O International News Agency. This important event is the first result of the Special Assembly of Bishops for the Middle East. Akkar On December 4 th 2010 and to the rhythm of the angelical voice of the Singer Joumana Mdawar and Fr. Roukoz Abou Zeid, Tele Lumiere inaugurated its new center in Sheikh Mohammad Village- Akkar, at St Maron Church Indkit,. It will cover all activities in the area, and will be a new platform for all locals and a permanent way of communication with all viewers in Lebanon and all over the world. Zahlé On December 23 rd 2010, the Bishops of Zahlé and Bekaa inaugurated Tele Lumiere s new center in the Charitable Catholic Association, el- Midan, in the attendance of bishops from all communities, coinciding with the week of prayer for the Christians unity. Tele Lumiere s Annual General Assembly Tele Lumiere and Noursat held the annual regular General Assembly at the Patriarchal Residence- Bkerke in the attendance of the newly-elected Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rai, the Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon Msgr. Gabriel Caccia, the Syriac Catholic Patriarch in Lebanon Ignatios III Younan, Tele Lumiere s board of directors, a crowd of figures and representatives of orders. During the meeting, the board of directors report was presented highlighting achievements and accounts in addition to Tele Lumiere s activities during these 2 years, and the ways to improve its mission. Tele Lumiere and the 1 st International Platform Tele Lumiere that was born on Pentecost, speaks today all languages, and has launched from Lebanon the first multi-lingual satellite Programming, in a special ceremony held at the General Manager's Residence in Chahtoul. This event gives the audience interesting information about Tele Lumiere s mission and programs that are broadcast in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian.

3 Tele Lumiere between the Homeland and the World of Immigration In Lebanon, the uniting and never dividing country, the citizens and immigrants met once again in a special event held by Tele Lumiere and Noursat at the residence of the TV station General Manager Jacques Kallassi in Shahtoul, in order to strengthen unity and communication among the Lebanese citizens and immigrants and their Mother Church. Tele Lumiere s Production The TV station never ceased to produce new programs such as talk shows, documentaries and spiritual programs enriching its seven grids in addition to new video clips following up all occasions. As well, it provided full coverage of conventions, activities about the Lebanese universities, schools, parishes and convents. بد ي صديق الزمن الم ر Armenians, the Everlasting Story Under this theme, Tele Lumiere launched a campaign on the memory of the Armenian genocide, producing exclusive documentaries on the Armenians filmed in Armenia and Turkey highlighting the churches, convents, monuments, Armenian towns with witnesses. Tele Lumiere in Iran Seeking to create balance among all communities, Tele Lumiere welcomed the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi presiding over a delegation of the Iranian Embassy in order to strengthen the relations. As well, it answered the invitation to visit the Republic of Iran, filmed documentaries about the Christians in Iran especially the Armenians and foreigners highlighting their roots, traditions, customs, activities and churches.

4 Tele Lumiere in World Conventions In June 2010, it participated in the jury in the 50 th international Film Festival in Monte- Carlo under the presidency of Prince Albert De Monaco. In May 2010, Tele Lumiere participated in the 2 nd Ecumenical Kirchentag" entitled That You May Have Hope in Munich, Germany hosted by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Munich and Freising and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria. In July 2010, Tele Lumiere covered the activities of the 46 th annual convention entitled Unity and Diversity in the Church held by St Joseph Roman Melkite Mission in Seattle- USA, In June 2010, Alo Rita team participated in a workshop tackling the role of mass media in implementing the Children Rights, held by the Supreme Council for Childhood and the Swedish Child Care Organization. As well, it provides full coverage of the 47 th convention held by the National Apostolate of Maronites at St Elias Maronite Church, Birmingham- Alabama, entitled True Responsibles for the Maronite Church. In June 2011, Tele Lumiere was invited to participate in a convention about dialogue among the Monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam in Budapest, Hungary. Tele Lumiere and Mother Teresa Tele Lumiere and the Lebanese Army Tele Lumiere celebrated the Army 65 th anniversary organized a musical and national ceremony with the participation of prominent artists and the Lebanese Army Band at Pierre Abou Khater Theatre- USJ, Damascus Road. Lebanon the Festival 2010 With all countries around the world, Tele Lumiere celebrated the birth centenary of Mother Teresa, unveiling a statue dedicated to Mother at Sed el- Bouchrieh. Msgr. Mansour Labaki, representing Bishop Boulos Matar, presided over the ceremonial mass at St Takla Church, with the assistance of the Parish Priest Fr. Joseph Sweid. Tele Lumiere sent salutes for the 4 th consecutive year to Lebanon, the Cedars country of knowledge and art, beauty and love, in front of an impressive archeological site the Big Temple of Fakra- Kfardebian, with the cooperation of its municipality, in traditional evenings highlighting Lebanon s traditional aspect.

5 Honoring Tele Lumiere Tele Lumiere that has been always ready to promote the woman s rights was honored in the Christian Media Forum on the occasion of its 20 th Pentecost. The symposium titled Tele Lumiere Woman s Programs was led by Tele Lumiere Programs Director Marie- Therese Kreidy, in the attendance of Dr. Claudia Abi Nader, Lena Abi Semaan Azar, Dr. Therese el-hashem Tarabay. Tele Lumiere in Canada Noursat- Canada Board of Directors held its 4 th annual ceremony, under the auspices of the Syriac Catholic Ignatius Youssef III Younan, in Canada, in the attendance of Tele Lumiere General Director Jacques Kallassi, Noursat Executive Director Raymond Nader, the Programming Director Marie- Therese Kreidy and all members of Noursat- Canada board presided by Elie Mojaes in addition to a group of religious, political, social and economic figures. It is important to mention that Noursat-Canada, like all our offices around the world, never neglected to broadcast several activities and ceremonies. Tele Lumiere and Pope Benedict Tele Lumiere maintained in 2010 its strong relation with the Holy See, following up several pastoral visits of Pope Benedict, starting from Turin and Portugal to Cyprus and Spain, in addition to the broadcast of the Angelus weekly from the Vatican. It is important to note that Tele Lumiere s teamwork traveled to Cyprus, produced several documentaries before the Pope arrived there and was present during the big event. A documentary about the Maronites in Cyprus including important and exceptional interviews was also produced. Tele Lumiere and the Synod In October 2010, the Vatican where the Special Synod for the Middle East entitled: the Synod: Martyrdom and Communion was held, was the center of the world s attention. Tele Lumiere was distinguished by its important participation and supporting this TV station was one of the Synod s recommendations. Tele Lumiere s General Manager Jacques Kallassi representing the TV station, considered in his speech its sacred mission. The Joy of Holiness Its journey with holiness is long and sublime, rejoicing whenever the Pope declares the beatification or the holiness of one of the righteous people. It intensifies its efforts to proclaim the Good News all over the world, as it did in the beatification of Brother Estfan Nehmé, Chiara Luce and Pope John-Paul II, broadcasting exclusive documentaries and programs, live coverage of all ceremonies during the event, and filming all activities

6 Maron s Events Following St Maron Jubilee Year declared by the Apostolic See, Tele Lumiere produced Maronite programs. As well, it broadcast several activities organized in Lebanon and worldwide. From Rome, Noursat provided full coverage of the most important event: Unveiling St Maron marble statue in the Vatican, with the blessing of Pope Benedict. In addition, it broadcast the ceremonial mass presided by the former Patriarch Cardinal Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir from St Peter s Basilica in addition to several activities and ceremonies that were held on this occasion. From Bkerke, Tele Lumiere followed up the event instantly till the white smoke emanated from the Patriarchal Palace declaring Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rai, the new patriarch of the Maronites. In addition to the 3-day live coverage from Bkerke receiving the congratulating delegations, our institution presented exclusive programs, documentaries, video clips and spots highlighting the new pastor that has always appeared on Tele Lumiere to the whole world in the program the Shepherd s Good News who accompanied the TV station with firm steps since the foundation of its board of directors presided by the late President Charles Helo and became his vice-president. So, may the new hope shine on Maronites from Tele Lumiere s family. Releases Tele Lumiere published last year: - a book titled the Eastern Patriarchs History and Presence written by our Colleague Journalist Jeanne-D Arc Abi Yaghi. It consists of 236 pages divided into 12 chapters symbolizing the number of our Eastern churches and each chapter highlighting one of their patriarchs (649 patriarchs) in a clear style. - The Memorial of Days, written by Tony Elie Chedid and supervised by Fr. Louis Khawand. The book summarizes the best of the writer s Christian human thoughts, readings, and talks with genius figures in order to awake people s consciousness. - A small crafted statue of Mother Teresa, praying and smiling, that Tele Lumiere offered on her birth Centenary. - Mother Teresa Achievements Inspiration and Challenge by Fr. Joseph Sweid focusing on the most important moments of the Angel of Peace and the Saint of the Most Poor. - The Message of Light, the weekly newspaper informing the viewers about Tele Lumiere s most important programs, activities, the Church news in Lebanon and all over the world.

7 Hidden Stars Tele Lumiere launched stars with high artistic competences from Tele Lumiere s Studio, so that they shine in singing and praising the Lord. Tele Lumiere Musical Academy It inaugurated new branches in: Sin el-fil, Bourj Hammoud, Deir el- Qamar diocese and Sidon, Ain Rihani- Keserwan, teaching music, playing on instruments, painting icons as well as the English, Syriac, Greek and Italian languages. Together Towards a Clean Society Tele Lumiere is ever acting, facing all distortions and violations in the society. She has been always pioneer in launching campaigns to awaken people and maintain the human heritage. It confronted abortion and pornography crying Enough! As well, it paid attention to the addicted cause and the Aids patients, making activities of awareness and projects assisting those who are damaged to be on the right track Blessed are you if you are persecuted for my sake Tele Lumiere has never neglected the truth but was always the voice of the Christians especially the persecuted ones. Every time it transmits the pains of its children in Iraq, Egypt, Sudan and the entire world. It defends the oppressed people and is united in solidarity with their suffering, through the campaigns that it launches raising the voice of those who are praying to their only resort Jesus- Christ for a descent and free life. The Campaign s Title: the Spring of Pentecost Its objective: So that the Word Remains Free Motto: Anyone whose life is illuminated owes it all to the Light As the previous years, Tele Lumiere and Noursat launch a Téléthon campaign in the 1 st week after Pentecost to finance their projects, develop their equipments and ensure deep and best production for the well-being of the Church, proclaim the Good News and sow holiness in the souls. Exclusive programs are broadcast live for all viewers around the world, allowing them to make initiatives and contribute to the mission of Tele Lumiere and Noursat. However the Téléthon net is limited to interviews with religious men, figures, the broadcasting of spots, video clips and communication with the viewers through the telephone, and fax.
