In a human and fraternal gesture, Tele Lumiere came into the prison to communicate with the prisoners so that they are freed at least from their psychological prison and can fly in the Creator s open space. There, Tele Lumiere filmed a new Christmas video clip by the director Laura al- Mourani Naanouh with singers from the prison s National Institute of Music, with the participation of the ISF orchestra, the singers Nader Khoury and Elie Khayat. In addition, Tele Lumiere had the chance to meet with the prison s residents, taking exclusive shots there where the TV station s teamwork experienced deep human moments sharing with the prisoners their secret feelings and highlighting the painful human, social and psychological situation in the prison cells, through exceptional and exclusive interviews that will be broadcast tonight in a special documentary at 8h30 pm. It aims at renewing the communication with God, spreading reconciliation, forgiveness and hope with the Savior s birth so the tortured souls are saved, their families are consoled in addition to the victims families who expressed as well their feelings towards the incidents they went through. May everybody is born again with the nativity of Jesus who came for all people without any discrimination. How great is God s mercy towards His children! 3 2011 Achievements Tele Lumiere New Centers Never limited to a place, and aiming to reach every home looking for the Light in Lebanon and all over the world, Tele Lumiere is born in 2011 in different areas: - In October, Tele Lumiere launched its new office at Jdeidet Marjehyoun and the South, within the framework of the joy festival: My Only Peace, You My Lord to be a beacon of light and creativity, place of meeting and communication, of dialogue and interaction in order to enhance the cultural and intellectual exchange, spread the culture of goodness, truth and peace. - On December 23 rd, it opened an office at the Bride of Bekaa, Zahlé in the Charitable Catholic Association, el- Midan in the attendance of Zahlé and Bekaa bishops. Tele Lumiere in World Conventions - In June, Tele Lumiere participated through its General Manager Jacques Kallassi at the convention held in Hungary by the European Union, under the theme For Strong Europe. Representatives of the 3 celestial religions, from Europe, the Middle East, Turkey and Russia met to discuss the principles of the open and free interfaith dialogue. - In June, it provided full coverage of the 50 th Antiochian Orthodox Convention in North America held in Chicago and presided by Metropolitan Philip Saliba, the Shepherd of the diocese, with the theme Priesthood with the participation of more than 260 parishes from the US different states and the 7 areas of the diocese and their pastors. - In July, Tele Lumiere and more than 1300 Lebanese and Arab immigrants from more than 50 parishes in USA, gathered around their Maronite Church at St Charbel Parish- Newton, in the convention held in Philadelphia, USA, under the theme the Identity and Evangelization in the Spirit of St Maron with the participation of its General Manager Jacques Kallassi through a remarkable intervention. - In October, regarding its pioneer role in the Christian media, communications and the interfaith dialogue, Tele Lumiere participated in Doha 9 th Interfaith Conference held by the Doha International Center, under the theme Social Media and Interfaith Dialogue: A New Relationship, besides 250 participants including religious men, academic people and journalists from outside Qatar and from the monotheistic religions in addition to Tele Lumiere s Programming Director Marie-Therese Kreidy representing the TV station. As well, Tele Lumiere broadcast Assisi s Convention coinciding with it under the theme Pilgrims of Truth Pilgrims of Peace gathering 300 spiritual leaders of different religions from more than 50 states topped by Pope Benedict. - In November, Tele Lumiere participated in the assembly of the World Catholic Association for Communication, Signis board of directors in Rome under the theme, Media for a Culture of Peace: Creating Images with the New Generation in the attendance of the presidents of the organization s seven international regions, representing more than 140 countries and hundreds of Catholic media. From Lebanon, the President of Signis International Marie-Therese Kreidy attended the meeting and presented Tele Lumiere s invitation to hold the next assembly in Lebanon. The Board of Directors, Always Vigilant Tele Lumiere s board of directors continued its assembly all this year in Lebanon and the world of immigration, discussing the TV s several activities that were accomplished progressively in 2011, and its role in helping the Church to bring believers closer to their shepherds, churches and traditions, with the spirit openness and ecumenism characterizing the TV station. Tele Lumiere s Annual General Assembly Tele Lumiere presented the annual report of its board of directors about achievements, activities and accounts discussing the ways of improvement in its annual regular General Assembly at the Patriarchal Residence- Bkerke in the attendance of the newly-elected Maronite Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rai, the Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon Msgr. Gabriel Caccia, the Syriac Catholic Patriarch in Lebanon Ignatios III Younan, Tele Lumiere s board of directors, a crowd of figures and representatives of orders.

4 Blessed Are You If You Are Persecuted for My Sake Tele Lumiere has never neglected the truth but was always the voice of the Christians especially the persecuted ones. Every time it transmits the pains of its children in Iraq, Egypt, Sudan and the entire world. It defends the oppressed people and is united in solidarity with their suffering, through the campaigns that it launches raising the voice of those who are praying to their only resort Jesus-Christ for a descent and free life. As well, Tele Lumiere followed up the revolutions of the Arab Spring, proclaiming to stop injustice and violence against the human being, through its newscast and talk shows. Lebanon the Festival As usual, Tele Lumiere organized and covered Lebanon the Festival honoring the artist Wadih Safi, with the participation of the singers Ayda Chalhoub, Antoine Safi, Naji Haddad and Nadine al-barouki, at the municipality square of Jounieh on September 18 th, transmitting the viewers to a world of beauty, art and thought, to Lebanon the peace, culture, joy and hope. Tele Lumiere in Iran Seeking to create balance among all communities, Tele Lumiere welcomed the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi presiding over a delegation of the Iranian Embassy in order to strengthen the relations. As well, it answered the invitation to visit the Republic of Iran, filmed documentaries about the Christians in Iran especially the Armenians and foreigners highlighting their roots, traditions, customs, activities and churches. Tele Lumiere, the Messenger of the Youth Also in Madrid Filled with the youth spirit and the strong faith, Tele Lumiere participated at the World Youth Day in Madrid under the theme Planted and Built Up on Jesus-Christ, Firm in the Faith providing the whole world with daily exclusive coverage of the event, producing reports, following up the preparations and activities and making interviews with the participants especially from the Arab countries through its young media team that consists of seven young people from the three continents and was selected by the World Catholic Organization for Communication SIGNIS to be members of its young media team and to transmit with accuracy the images of a culture of peace and how young people play a key role in that building process. Armenians, the Everlasting Story Under this theme, Tele Lumiere launched a campaign on the memory of the Armenian genocide, producing exclusive documentaries on the Armenians filmed in Armenia and Turkey highlighting the churches, convents, monuments, Armenian towns with witnesses. Tele Lumiere in the Prayer Week One in the Apostles Teaching, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread and Prayer, Tele Lumiere followed up the activities of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January 15th- 23rd) broadcasting special programs, interviews, important liturgical and ecclesiastic ceremonies held on this occasion, from Lebanon and all the world. Divided by Politics but United by Tele Lumiere On the occasion of the Biblical year, Tele Lumiere gathered a group of Lebanese deputies and ministers in addition to intellectual figures and a delegation of the TV s family, in a spiritual retreat to deepen faith and enhance hope, at Our Lady of the Well Convent, Bkennaya- Jal el Dib, on November 12 th, when Fr. Kamil Moubarak brought about the issue of the human role in the Christ s body. Moreover, Raymond Nader and Aneel Aranha gave their life testimonies on faith.

5 Noursat Al Shabab born of the Holy Spirit for the Youth Come and speak all tongues. After they spoke all tongues and addressed to all generations Noursat Al Shabab saw the light on 2011 Pentecost, to preach with tongues of fire according to the youth language, the heart of the Church and societies. So the new satellite was launched on the eve of the Pentecost, with the blessing and under the auspices of the Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon Msgr. Gabriel Caccia, in the attendance of the board members topped by Bishop Roland Abou Jaoudé, the General Manager Jacques Kallassi, and with the participation of Bishop Antoine Nabil el- Andari, Bishop Boulos Dahdah and a crowd of priests and friends. On the Pentecost Tele Lumiere s family met as usual in an ecumenical mass at St Elias Church, Antelias celebrated by Bishop Antoine Nabil al-andari with the assistance of the convent s superior Joseph Abd el-sater, Fr. Antonios Ibrahim and Fr. Majdi Allawi in addition to representatives of the Eastern churches, in the attendance of the board members and crowds of believers. The Holy Spirit blessed this year the birth of the new satellite, renewing the gifts of Tele Lumiere and Noursat with the mission s new beginning. The Spring of the Pentecost Tele Lumiere and Noursat launched as the previous years, a Téléthon campaign in the 1 st week after Pentecost to finance their projects, develop their equipments and ensure deep and best production for the well-being of the Church, proclaim the Good News and sow holiness in the souls. Exclusive programs with religious men, figures, spots and video clips were broadcast to all viewers around the world, allowing them to make initiatives and contribute to the mission of Tele Lumiere and Noursat. The Campaign s Objective: So that the Word Remains Free Motto: Anyone whose life is illuminated owes it all to the Light Call: With your help, the light will continue to spread around the world Tele Lumiere in the World of Digital Media Increasing the broadcasting hours in English and Spanish to its wide audience in the world of immigration, launching the Arab version of its website and intensifying its activities on the social communication sites: You Tube, Facebook and Twitter, Tele Lumiere launched the English version of its website, and resumed the online streaming in Lebanon and the whole world, so that the Word remains free. 6 Tele Lumiere and the Church She found the blessings in the Spirit first and the Church second, followed up during the last year the Church news around the world and the conventions organized in its name, the synods, recommendations and new appointments. As well, it looked step by step forward the canonization and beatification of those chosen by the Father, and made exclusive productions inspiring a lot of people around the world. Tele Lumiere and the Pope Tele Lumiere always followed up the news of the Holy See and the head of the Catholic Church Pope Benedict. It accompanied him in all steps and trips, attaching great importance to his activities and sermons on all occasions and world days. Tele Lumiere and Patriarch Rai From Bkerke, Tele Lumiere followed up the event instantly till the white smoke emanated from the Patriarchal Palace declaring Patriarch Bechara Boutros Rai, the new Maron in Rome After the following up of St Maron Jubilee Year, Tele Lumiere was ready to transmit from Rome the most important event on February 23 rd : Unveiling St Maron marble statue in the Vatican, with the blessing of Pope Benedict. In addition, it broadcast the ceremonial mass presided by the former Patriarch Cardinal Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir from St Peter s Basilica in addition to several activities and ceremonies that were held on this occasion. patriarch of the Maronites. So we rejoiced because of the new hope with the patriarch of Communion and Love who shone on the Maronites from Tele Lumiere s family, so Tele Lumiere followed him up as usual during all his pastoral visits in Lebanon and all over the world. The Family Takes Care of the Spirit Thanks to its faith in the immortal Word and immense love to the Creator of the universe for Whom it lives, Tele Lumiere s family caught every opportunity to renew its spiritual activity through gatherings around the Word in several occasions, in order to free the souls and help them regain the necessary balance in their spiritual journey and renew their loyalty to the God of peace and love. Tele Lumiere and the Patron of the Youth Pope John Paul II who knew the mysteries of holiness and embodied them in his life, became an example to be followed and a light guiding the world, shone as a saint through exclusive programs and documentaries highlighting the life of the white angel who was sent by God to today s youth. Tele Lumiere followed up instantly the joy of his beatification from all over the world and launched also its new satellite Noursat al-shabab on the eve of the beatification, considering him its patron.
