TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME MONDAY LAUDS O Amma, open my lips. And I shall praise Your Name. Invitatory Psalm 95 Jesus, show us your face, the human face of God s mercy.,יהוה You, Come, let us sing with joy to calling out to Our Rock who protects us. Let us move closer to your Holy presence with gratitude, and in our psalms sing joyously to You! For You,,יהוה are great, with supreme power over all the other things we deem powerful in our lives. The depths of the earth are in your hands. The peaks of the mountains are yours. The sea is yours, for You made it. Your hands formed dry land. So come, let us worship, kneel, bow before You,,יהוה our Creator.

You are our God and we are the people You tend, the people held within your hands. If only we finally heed your voice: Oh do not harden your hearts, as you did in the desert wilderness where your ancestors tried and tested Me though they had seen My marvelous acts. All forty years I strove with that generation who wandered in the desert, till I said, These people have errant hearts. They will never honor My Ways. And I swore in My anger that never would they come to My place of rest. Jesus, show us your face, the human face of God s mercy. Glory be to You, the Eternal Mother, and to You, Beloved Son, and to You, the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Psalm 42 When from this exile shall we behold You face to face? Like the deer that yearns for flowing streams, so my soul is longing for You, my God. My soul is thirsting for my God, the living God. When shall I come and see the face of God? My tears have become my food by night and day, while I hear it said all day, "Where is your God? These things will I remember as I pour out my soul: how I led the throng to the house of God with shouts of gladness and songs of thanksgiving, the multitude keeping festival. Why are you cast down my soul, why disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I will again praise Her, my help and my God. My soul is cast down within me, therefore I think of You from the far lands, from all lands. Deep calls to deep, in the thunder of your waters. All your waves and your billows have swept over me.

By day You,,יהוה will send me your steadfast love, and at night your song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life. I will say to You, my God, my Rock, "Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of oppression?" As with a deadly wound, my adversaries taunt me, saying to me all the day long: "Where is your God? Why are you cast down, my soul, why disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Her, my help and my God. When from this exile shall we behold You face to face? Glory be to You, the Eternal Mother, and to You, Beloved Son, and to You, the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Canticle: Sirach 36: 1-5, Worker of wonders, show forth your splendor!

Come to our aid, O God of the universe, and put all the nations in dread of You! Raise your hand toward the unbelievers, that they may realize your power. As You have used us to show them your holiness, so now use them to show us your glory. Thus they will know, as we know, that there is no god but You. Give new signs and work new wonders. Show forth the splendor of the works of your hands. Gather all the scattered tribes, that they may come to their land. Show mercy to the people called by your Name: Israel, whom You named your first-born, and all the peoples from everywhere. Take pity on all of us in each of our lands, your dwelling place among all lands. Fill our lands with your majesty, your temple with your glory. Worker of wonders, show forth your splendor!

Glory be to You, the Mothering God, and to You, the Mothering Christ, and to You, the Mothering Spirit, for now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Psalm 19: 1-6 The vaults of heaven ring with the praise of God. The courts of heaven ring with praise of God. The heavens tell of Her glory. and the firmament proclaims Her handiwork. Day unto day pours forth the story and night unto night reveals its knowledge. No speech, no word, no voice is heard, yet their voice goes out to all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them She set a tent for the sun. It comes forth like a bridegroom. It comes forth like a bride leaving her chamber, rejoices like a champion running its course. Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its course to the end of them. There is nothing concealed from its heat.

The teaching of יהוה is perfect and revives the soul. The decrees of יהוה are sure and give wisdom to the innocent. The statutes of יהוה are just and rejoice the heart. The instructions of יהוה are clear and give light to the eyes. The fear of יהוה is pure and endures for ever. The judgments of יהוה are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, more than much fine gold, sweeter far than honey, than honey in the comb. By all these things, those seeking your Will are enlightened, and in keeping them, there is great reward. Who can tell how often one offends? Cleanse me from my secret faults. Above all, keep those who seek your Will from presumptuous sins. Let them not get dominion over me. Then shall I be whole and sound,

and innocent of a great offense. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O,יהוה my rock and my redeemer..יהוה The vaults of heaven ring with the praise of Glory be You, our Mother and Father in One, and to You, the Beloved Son and to You, Holy Spirit, as it was, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. READING I saw that God is everything which is good, as I understand. And in this God showed me something small, no bigger than a hazelnut, lying in the palm of my hand, as it seemed to me, and it was as round as a ball. I looked at it with the eye of my understanding and thought: What can this be? I was amazed that it could last, for I thought that because of its littleness it would suddenly have fallen into nothing.

And I was answered in my understanding: It lasts and always will, because God loves it; and thus everything has being through the love of God. Julian of Norwich, Showings CANTICLE OF ZECHARIAH Blessed be יהוה who has visited us and saved us. Blessed are You, God of our homes, our lands, for You have visited and redeemed your people, and have raised up a sign of strength for us in the midst of our lives of toil. As You spoke through the mouths of your holy prophets from of old, we are now to be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all which oppresses us. Now your mercy is given to us, as promised to our ancestors. Now your holy covenant is remembered, the oath You swore to Sarah and Abraham, to grant us deliverance from evil, so that we might serve You without fear, in holiness and righteousness all the days of our lives.

And you, child, will be called the prophet of God Most High, for you will go before Our Holy One to prepare יהוה s ways, to give knowledge of salvation to all people in the forgiveness of their sins, through the loving-kindness,יהוה of the heart of who visits us like the dawn from on high. darkness, will give light to those in יהוה and in the shadow of death, She will guide our feet into the way of peace. Blessed be יהוה who has visited us and saved us. INTERCESSIONS For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts, for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, we pray. OUR MOTHER Jesus taught us to call God Abba. The Holy Spirit is teaching us to also call God Amma,

and so we, as women, have the courage to say: Amma in heaven, Holy is Thy Name. Your reign is coming. Your Will is being done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us bread for our needs day by day. Forgive us our offenses as we have forgiven our offenders. Do not let us enter into temptation. Deliver us from error. Amen. PRAYER Eternal Mother and Father in One, You have created us in your image and we long to see your human face. Help us to remember that, in walking the way of your Word, we will see your face in the world around us. Grant us this peace in the Name of Jesus. Amen. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME MONDAY LECTIO DIVINA

O Amma, come to my aid. Make haste to help me. Wisdom, I rest in Your embrace. Help me to let go of words when they no longer are necessary. Have me remember that You are with me in both words and silence. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME MONDAY MIDDAY PRAYER O Amma, come to my aid. Make haste to help me. ANGELUS The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to your Word. Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. And the Word was made flesh. And dwelt amongst us. Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we might be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen. Help me to have faith in my unseen tapestry. Help me to remember that I do not walk alone.

Day is here. I begin. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME MONDAY VESPERS I call upon You, O Amma. Come quickly to me. Give ear to my voice when I call to You. Let my prayer be counted as incense before You, and the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice. Psalm 139: 1-18, O,יהוה how great is your Wisdom, so far beyond my understanding. O,יהוה You have searched me and You know me. You know when I sit and when I stand. You discern my thoughts from afar. You mark when I walk or lie down. With all my ways You are acquainted.

Before a word is on my tongue, behold, O,יהוה You know the whole of it. Behind and before You besiege me. You lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too high, beyond my reach. O where can I go from your Spirit, or where can I flee from your presence? If I climb to heaven, You are there. If I lie in the grave, You are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the depths of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, your hand shall hold me fast. If I say, "Let darkness cover me, and the light around me be night," even darkness is not dark to You, and the night is as bright as the day, for darkness is as light to You. Wisdom, how great is your,יהוה so far beyond my understanding. Glory to You, Source of all Being, and to You, Eternal Word

and to You, Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, forever and ever. Amen. Psalm 139 II You search the mind and probe the heart, giving to each as we deserve. For it was You who formed my inmost parts, knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You for the wonder of my being, for the wonder of all your works. Already You knew me well. My body was not hidden from You, when I was being made in secret and molded in the depths of the earth. Your eyes beheld my unformed substance. In your book they all were written, the days that You had formed for me How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast the sum of them! If I count them, they are more than the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. Search me, O God, and know my heart! Test me and know my thoughts!

See that I follow not the wrong way, and lead me in the way of life eternal. You search the mind and probe the heart, giving to each as we deserve. Glory be to You, the Eternal Mother, and to You, Beloved Son, and to You, the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Canticle: Ephesians 1: 3-10 May Christ dwell in our hearts through faith, that we may be rooted in love. Praised be You, the Father. Praised be You, the Mother of Jesus, our Christ. You have blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. You have chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless in your sight. We have been predestined

to be your children through Jesus Christ. Such was the purpose of Your Will, that all might praise the glorious favor bestowed on us in Christ. In Christ and through His blood, we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of divine grace lavished upon us. For You have made known to us in all wisdom and insight, the mystery of the plan set forth in Christ, a plan to be carried out in Christ, in the fullness of time, to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth. May Christ dwell in our hearts through faith, that we may be rooted in love. Glory be to You, the Father, and to You, the Son and to You, the Holy Spirit, one God, Mother of us all, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

READING God knows the best human instruments to use in the work of making us saints, which is the work of making us God-like; and they must necessarily be those who will cause us to put aside our own ways and desires and views to take on God's own. It is a matter of following the Holy Spirit instead of our own spirit, of letting that mind be in us that was in Christ Jesus. Mother Aloysius Rogers, Fragrance from Alabaster CANTICLE OF MARY.יהוה Let my soul proclaim your greatness for ever, O My Soul proclaims your greatness, O God, and my spirit has rejoiced in You, my Savior, for your regard has blessed me, poor, and a serving woman. From this day all generations will call me blessed, for You who are mighty, have made me great. Most Holy be your Name. Your mercy is on those who fear You

throughout all generations. You have shown strength with your arm. You have scattered the proud in their hearts' fantasy. You have put down the mighty from their seat, and have lifted up the powerless. You have filled the hungry with good things, and have sent the rich away empty. You, remembering your mercy, have helped your people, as You promised Sarah and Abraham, mercy to their children, forever..יהוה Let my soul proclaim your greatness for ever, O INTERCESSIONS For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts, for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, we pray. OUR MOTHER Jesus taught us to call God Abba. The Holy Spirit is teaching us to also call God Amma, and so we, as women, have the courage to say:

Amma in heaven, Holy is Thy Name. Your reign is coming. Your Will is being done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us bread for our needs day by day. Forgive us our offenses as we have forgiven our offenders. Do not let us enter into temptation. Deliver us from error. Amen. PRAYER Holy One, Wisdom of our Way, we have walked with You from early morning. Have us rest deeply and without anxiety this night, so that we may rise rested to serve You and one another with strength and hope. We also pray for all who will awake this night to the vision of your glory. This we ask through your Beloved Son who brings peace beyond understanding to our world. Amen. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME MONDAY COMPLINE

O Amma, come to my aid. Make haste to help me. Psalm 63: 1-9 I am encircled by the arms of the mystery of God. My soul feasts on You and my mouth praises You, as I think of You upon my bed, and meditate on You in the watches of the night. For You have been my help. In the shadow of your wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to You. Your hand upholds me. All are encircled by the arms of the mystery of God. NIGHTLY EXAMEN O Wisdom, Give me strength to look at your gift of my day with your eyes, not merely my own. Help me in my remembering each moment, especially my deeper emotions. Guide me to understanding as to where I have gone wrong,

in my life and within me. Have my confession be sincere and trusting in your mercy and love. Enlighten me as to where I need to change for tomorrow. ACT OF CONFESSION Most merciful Amma, I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved You with my whole heart. I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. Have mercy on me and forgive me, so that I may delight in your Will, and walk in your ways with a renewed heart. Amen. NIGHT PRAYER Keep watch, dear Amma, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, dear Amma. Give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering,

pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love's sake. Amen. CANTICLE OF SIMEON Amma, You can now release me from my waiting forwardly, release me in peace as You promised, for my eyes have seen your saving light which You have prepared for all peoples. FINAL PRAYER Into your hands, I commend my spirit. You have redeemed me, O Jesus. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME TUESDAY LAUDS O Amma, open my lips. And I shall praise Your Name. Invitatory Psalm 67 A mighty God is.יהוה Come, let us adore Her.

O God, be gracious and bless us and let your face shed your light upon us. So will your ways be known upon earth and all lands learn your saving help. Let the peoples praise You, O God. Let all the peoples praise You. Let their countries be glad and exult for You rule our world with justice. With fairness You rule us. You guide our countries on earth. Let the peoples praise You, O God. Let all the peoples praise You. The earth has yielded its fruit, for You, our God, has blessed us. May You still give us your blessing till the ends of the earth revere You. A mighty God is.יהוה Come, let us adore Her. Glory be to You, the Mothering God, and to You, the Mothering Christ, and to You, the Mothering Spirit, for now and always, and unto the ages of ages.

Psalm 43 O,יהוה let us walk as people of light, that we may know what is pleasing to You. Defend me, O God, and plead my cause against a people that chooses to be blind to divinity. From the deceitful and the unjust, rescue me! For You are the God in whom I take refuge. Why have You cast me oft? Why do I go mourning because of oppression? O send out your Light and your Truth. Let these be my guide. Let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling place. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy, and I will praise You with my singing, O God, my God. Why are you cast down, my soul? Why groan within me? Hope in God. I shall again praise Her,

my help and my God. O,יהוה let us walk as people of light, that we may know what is pleasing to You. Glory be to You, the Source of all Being and to You, the Eternal Word and to You, the Holy Spirit, as it was, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Canticle: Isaiah 38: 10-14, 17b-20,יהוה Seek out the reign of and all things shall be yours as well. Once I said, "In the noontime of life, I must depart! I am consigned to the gates of death for the rest of my years." יהוה I said, "I shall not see in the land of the living. No longer shall I see my companions among the dwellers of this world. My dwelling is plucked up and removed from me like a dwelling in the plains swept away by a tornado.

Like a weaver I have rolled up my life, being cut off from the loom. Day and night You give me over to torment. I cry for help until daybreak. Like a lion You break all my bones. Day and night You give me over to torment. Like a swallow or crane, I clamor. I moan like a dove. My eyes grow weary gazing upward. I am oppressed. Be my security! Restore me to health, make me live! It was for my welfare that I had great bitterness. You have held back my life from the pit of destruction. You have cast all my sins behind your back. For the nether world cannot thank You. Death cannot praise You. Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness. The living, the living give You thanks, as I do this day.

Parents make known to their children your faithfulness. You, O,יהוה will save us. We will sing to stringed instruments all the days of our lives in your holy dwelling.,יהוה Seek out the reign of and all things shall be yours as well. Glory be to You, the Mothering God, and to You, the Mothering Christ, and to You, the Mothering Spirit, for now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Psalm 65 Consider the lilies of the field. They neither toil nor spin. Praise is due to You, O God in our land, and to You shall vows be made, to You who hear our prayer. To You shall all flesh come, because of its sins. When our offenses bear us down, You forgive them all. Blessed are we whom You choose and draw near, to dwell in your gardens! We are filled with the goodness

of your house, your holy temple! With wonders You deliver us, O God of our salvation. You are the hope of all the earth and of far distant seas. By your strength, You established the mountains, girded with might. You still the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples. Those who dwell at earth's farthest bounds stand in awe at your wonders. You make the sunrise and sunset shout for joy. You care for the earth, give it water. You fill it with riches. Your river of God is full of water. You provide the people with grain, for so You have prepared it. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth. You crown the year with your bounty. Abundance flows in your path.

The pastures of the wilderness flow. The hills gird themselves with joy. The meadows clothe themselves with flocks. The valleys deck themselves with grain. They shout and sing together for joy. Consider the lilies of the field.they neither toil nor spin. Glory be to You, the Father, and to You, the Son, and to You, Holy Spirit, one God, Mother of us all, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. READING For St. Teresa, life was a night spent in an uncomfortable inn, just as for Cervantes the castles of human illusion were really humble inns. But for St. Teresa, the soul is a castle, like the castles on the plain of Castile. And the center of our being, where God is, is the marriage bed in the castle. For most people, it is the dungeon that they never go down to. It is really the secret room, the bridal chamber in each one of us. Love dwells within us. God is crazed with love, and Her behavior is therefore unpredictable. She

may do something silly at any time, because, like the lover, She does not reason. She is drunk with love. The soul is the secret chamber for which only God has the key. And if She does not go in, it is empty. The senses may be surfeited with pleasure, but the soul remains empty. All beauty is sad. Bitterness and distress are in the depths of all things. This is the groaning of the creatures, of which St. Paul speaks. But in us creation rests from its anguish, when our hearts rest in God. Ernesto Cardenal Love, A Glimpse of Eternity (Words changed to recognize to God as She) CANTICLE OF ZECHARIAH You, O,הוה have raised up a horn of salvation for us. Blessed are You, God of our homes, our lands, for You have visited and redeemed your people, and have raised up a sign of strength for us in the midst of our lives of toil. 38 Our riches lie in the glory of God. Hear this, all you peoples! Give heed, all dwellers of the world, you, both low and high, rich and poor together! My lips will speak words of wisdom. The meditation of my heart shall be understanding. I will incline my ear to a proverb. I will solve my riddle on the lyre. Why should I fear in times of trouble, when the malice of my foes surrounds me, those who trust in their wealth, and boast of the vastness of their riches? For we cannot buy our own ransom, or give to God the price for our lives. The ransom of our lives is beyond us. It can never be enough, to avoid going to the grave. Both the wise and the foolish must perish and leave their wealth to others. Their graves are their homes forever, their dwelling places to all generations. Though their names spread wide through the land, they are like the beasts that perish.

Our riches lie in the glory of God. Glory be to You, the Source of all Being, and to You, Her Eternal Word, and to You, the Holy Spirit, as it was, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Psalm 49 II Be not afraid. I go before you. This is the fate of those with foolish confidence, the end of those who are pleased with their portion. Like sheep they are driven to the grave. Death shall be their shepherd. Straight to the grave they descend, and their form shall waste away. The grave shall be their home. But You will ransom my soul from the power of the grave, for You will receive me. Be not afraid when people grow rich, when the glory of their houses increases. They carry nothing with them when they die. Their glory will not go down with them. Though while they lived,

they thought themselves happy, and thought themselves praised for their success. They will go to join their ancestors, who will never more see the light. People cannot abide in insolence. They are like the beasts that perish. Be not afraid. I go before you. Glory be to You, the Eternal Mother, and to You, Beloved Son, and to You, the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Canticle: Revelations 4: 11, 5: 9, 10, 12 Worthy is the Lamb who was slain. Worthy are You, Messiah, our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For You have created all things. By your Will they came to be and were made. Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals, for You were slain, and by your blood,

יהוה You purchased for saints of every race and tongue, of every people and nation. You have made of them a kindom, and priests to serve our God, and they shall reign on the earth. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches, wisdom and strength, honor and glory and praise. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain. Glory be to You, Our Creator, to You, Our Redeemer, and to You, Our Sustainer, as it was, is now, and ever shall be. Amen. READING A tree is known by its fruit. So those who profess to belong to Christ will be known by what they do. For the work we are about is not a matter of words here and now, but depends on the power of faith and on being found faithful to the end. It is better to remain silent and to be, than to talk

and not be. Teaching is good if the teacher also acts. Now there was one teacher who spoke, and it was made, and even what He did in silence is worthy of God. The woman who has the words of Jesus can truly listen also to her silence, in order to be perfect, that she may act through her speech and be known by her silence. Nothing is hidden from God, but even our secrets are close to Her. Let us then do everything in the knowledge that She is dwelling within us so that we may be Her temples and She may be God within us. She is, and will reveal Herself, in our sight, according to the love we bear Her in holiness. Saint Ignatius of Antioch, Letter to the Ephesians (words changed to include women and to speak of God as She) CANTICLE OF MARY My spirit rejoices in,יהוה my Savior. My Soul proclaims your greatness, O God, and my spirit has rejoiced in You, my Savior, for your regard has blessed me, poor, and a serving woman. From this day all generations will call me blessed,

for You who are mighty, have made me great. Most Holy be your Name. Your mercy is on those who fear You throughout all generations. You have shown strength with your arm. You have scattered the proud in their hearts' fantasy. You have put down the mighty from their seat, and have lifted up the powerless. You have filled the hungry with good things, and have sent the rich away empty. 44 OUR MOTHER Jesus taught us to call God Abba. The Holy Spirit is teaching us to also call God Amma, and so we, as women, have the courage to say: Amma in heaven, Holy is Thy Name. Your reign is coming. Your Will is being done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us bread for our needs day by day. Forgive us our offenses as we have forgiven our offenders. Do not let us enter into temptation. Deliver us from error. Amen. PRAYER Holy Spirit of God, Sophia, promise of Jesus, come to our help in these darkening hours of the day. Come with forgiveness and healing love of those times that we went astray. Come with your power to help us continue in the way of your truth. We ask this through our ever loving Sovereign Jesus. Amen.

TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME TUESDAY COMPLINE O Amma, come to my aid. Help me in my remembering each moment,

especially my deeper emotions. Guide me to understanding as to where I have gone wrong, in my life and within me.

Give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love's sake. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME WEDNESDAY LAUDS O Amma, open my lips. And I shall praise Your Name.

Invitatory Psalm 24 Wisdom. is the source of all יהוה Come, let us adore Her. Yours is the earth and its fullness, the world and all who dwell there, for You have founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers.? יהוה Who shall climb your mountain, O Who shall stand in your holy place? Those with clean hands and pure hearts, who do not desire what is vain, who have not sworn so as to deceive their neighbors. They shall feel blessed by You, treated justly by a loving God. Like Jacob, this is a generation of seekers, a generation seeking your presence. Lift the gates of the world high! Let the gates of eternity be lifted high! Let enter the God of glory! Who is this God of glory? valiant, who is mighty and יהוה

valiant against all injustice. O gates, lift up your heads. Grow higher, ancient doors. Let enter the God of glory! Who is this God of glory? You, O,יהוה are Mother over all! You, O,יהוה are Father of Glory! Wisdom. is the source of all יהוה Come, let us adore Her. Glory be to You, Our Mothering God, and to You, Our Mothering Christ, and to You, Our Mothering Spirit, for now and always, and unto the ages of ages. Psalm 77 You, O,יהוה are faithful. All your ways are holy. I will cry aloud to God. I cry aloud to God who will hear me..יהוה In the day of my trouble I sought after My hands were stretched out by night and did not tire. I refused to be comforted. I think of God. I am restless.

I ponder and my spirit faints. You will not let my eyelids close. I am troubled and I cannot speak. I consider the days of old. I remember the years long past. I commune with my heart in the night. I ponder and search my mind. Will יהוה cast me off for ever? Will She no more show her favor? Has Her steadfast love come to an end for ever? Are Her promises at an end for evermore? Has She forgotten to be gracious? Has She, in her anger, withheld her compassion? And I said, My grief is this: the right hand of the Most High has lost its power. יהוה I will remember the works of and call to mind your wonders of old time. I will meditate on all your acts and ponder your mighty deeds. Your Way, O God, is holy. Who is so great a God as She? You are the God who works wonders and have declared your power among the peoples.

By your strength you have redeemed your people, the children of the people who seek You. The waters saw You, O God. The waters saw You and trembled. The very depths were shaken. The clouds poured out water. The skies thundered. Your arrows flashed to and fro. The sound of your thunder was in the whirlwind. Your lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook. Your way was in the sea, and your paths in the great waters, yet your footsteps were not seen. You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Miriam and Aaron. You, O,יהוה are faithful. All your ways are holy. Glory be to You, the Father, and to You, the Son and to You, Holy Spirit, one God, Mother of us all, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Canticle: 1 Samuel 2: 1-10 My heart exults in God, the joy of my salvation..יהוה My heart exults in My strength is exalted in my God. My lips renounce all that is evil, because I rejoice in your salvation..יהוה There is no Holy One like You, O There is no Rock like our God. Speak no longer so boastfully, nor let arrogance come from your mouth, for יהוה is a holy one of knowledge, a God who weighs our deeds. The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble are circled with strength. The full hire themselves out for bread, while the hungry cease to hunger. The barren have borne seven children, but those who have many are forlorn. life. You put to death and give,יהוה You cast down to the grave and raise up. You make poor and make rich.

You bring low, You also exalt. You raise up the poor from the dust. You lift the needy from the ash heap, to seat them with those of renown and inherit a seat of honor..יהוה Yours, For the pillars of the earth are On them You set the world. You will guard the steps of your faithful ones, but wickedness shall perish in darkness, for not by strength shall we prevail. high. Against evil You will thunder on!יהוה earth. You will judge the ends of the,יהוה You will give strength to just leaders and exalt the power of your anointed ones! My heart exults in God, the joy of my salvation. Glory be to You, the Father, and to You, the Son, and to You, Holy Spirit, one God, Mother of us all, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Psalm 97 Rejoice, the Messiah comes to save us. You,,יהוה reign over all. Let the earth rejoice. Let the many coastlands be glad! Clouds and thick darkness are round about You, righteousness and justice the foundation of your sanctuary. Fire goes before You, burning up all that is evil. Your lightnings lighten the world. The earth sees and trembles. Mountains melt like wax before You, before You,,יהוה Sovereign over all the earth. The heavens proclaim your justice. All people behold your glory. All who pay homage to earthly things perceived as their gods, who boast in these worthless gods, are put to shame. For everything of this earth bows down before You. Our land hears and is glad. The people of our land rejoice, because of your judgments, O God. For You, O,יהוה are most high over all the earth, exalted far above those earthly things perceived as gods.

You,,יהוה love those who hate evil. You preserve the lives of your saints. You deliver them from wickedness. Light dawns for the just and joy for the upright of heart. Rejoice in,יהוה you that are just, and give thanks to Her Holy Name. Rejoice, the Messiah comes to save us. Glory be to You, the Father, and to You, the Son, and to You, Holy Spirit, one God, Mother of us all, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. READING This path of self-knowledge must never be abandoned, nor is there on this journey a soul so much a giant that it has no need to return often to the stage of an infant and a suckling. There is no stage of prayer so sublime that it isn't necessary to return often to the beginning. Along this path of prayer, self-knowledge and the thought of one's sins

is the bread with which all palates must be fed no matter how delicate they may be; they cannot be sustained without this bread. It must be eaten within bounds, nonetheless. Teresa of Avila, Life CANTICLE OF ZECHARIAH Deliver us, O,יהוה from all that is evil.

Deliver us, O,יהוה from all that is evil.

Amen. PRAYER O Eternal Creator, each morning we praise the beautiful gift of this day, where we live your call to grow. Give us courage before the coming challenges of our labors. Make us worthy of this time You have given us. This we ask for ourselves and for all of creation living this day, through Jesus, Creator with You before all time. Amen. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME WEDNESDAY LECTIO DIVINA

O Amma, come to my aid. Make haste to help me. Wisdom, I rest in Your embrace. Help me to let go of words when they no longer are necessary. Have me remember that You are with me in both words and silence. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME WEDNESDAY MIDDAY PRAYER O Amma, come to my aid.

I begin. TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME WEDNESDAY VESPERS I call upon You, O Amma. Come quickly to me. Give ear to my voice when I call to You. Let my prayer be counted as incense before You, and the lifting up of my hands as an evening sacrifice. Psalm 62 In silence and stillness, my heart waits for You. For God alone my soul waits in silence. From Her comes my salvation. She alone is my rock and my stronghold, my fortress. I shall not be moved. How long will you assail a person, will you batter a person, all of you,

as though they were a leaning wall, or a tottering fence? Their only plan is to bring down a person of prominence. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope comes from Her. She alone is my rock and my stronghold, my fortress. I shall not be moved. In God alone is my deliverance, my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in Her at all times and pour out our hearts before Her, for God is our refuge. Common folk are but a breath. Great persons are a delusion. Placed on the scales, they go up. Together they are lighter than a breath. Put no confidence in extortion. Set no vain hopes on robbery. Do not set your heart on riches, even if they should increase.

Once God has spoken, twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, and to You,,יהוה steadfast love. For You repay us according to our deeds. In silence and stillness, my heart waits for You. Glory be to You, the Father, and to You, the Son, and to You, Holy Spirit, one God, Mother of us all, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Psalm 67 Your Spirit moves upon the face of the earth. O God, be gracious and bless us and let your face shed your light upon us. So will your ways be known upon earth and all lands learn your saving help. Let the peoples praise You, O God. Let all the peoples praise You. Let their countries be glad and exult

for You rule our world with justice. With fairness You rule us. You guide our countries on earth. Let the peoples praise You, O God. Let all the peoples praise You. The earth has yielded its fruit, for You, our God, has blessed us. May You still give us your blessing till the ends of the earth revere You. Your Spirit moves upon the face of the earth. Glory be to You, the Father, and to You, the Son, and to You, Holy Spirit, one God, Mother of us all, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Canticle: Colossians 1: You are God s temple. God s Spirit dwells in you. Let us give thanks to God for having made us worthy to share

the inheritance of the saints in light. She had delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kindom of Her beloved Son, Jesus, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation. In Jesus all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things visible and invisible. All things were created through Jesus. All were created for Jesus. Jesus is before all else that is. In Him all things hold together. Jesus is the head of the body, the church. Jesus is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything, He might be above all others. In Jesus all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through Him, to reconcile all things to God, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His Cross.

You are God s temple. God s Spirit dwells in you. Glory be to You, the Father, and to You, the Son, and to You, Holy Spirit, one God, Mother of us all, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. READING You are told Love God. If you say to me Show me whom I should love, what can I say except what John says? No woman and no man has ever seen God. But you must not think yourself wholly unsuited to seeing God: God is love, says John, and whoever dwells in love dwells in God. So love whoever is nearest to you and look inside you to see where that love is coming from: thus, as far as you are capable, you will see God. By loving your neighbor, by having care for your neighbor, you are traveling on a journey. Where are you journeying, except to God, whom we must love with all our heart and all our soul and all our mind? We have not yet reached God, but our neighbor is with us already. So support your neighbor, who is

traveling with you, so that you may reach God with whom you long to dwell. St Augustine's tractates on St John CANTICLE OF MARY Most holy be Your Name. My Soul proclaims your greatness, O God, and my spirit has rejoiced in You, my Savior, for your regard has blessed me, poor, and a serving woman. From this day all generations will call me blessed, for You who are mighty, have made me great. Most Holy be your Name. Your mercy is on those who fear You throughout all generations. You have shown strength with your arm. You have scattered the proud in their hearts' fantasy. You have put down the mighty from their seat, and have lifted up the powerless. You have filled the hungry with good things, and have sent the rich away empty.

You, remembering your mercy, have helped your people, as You promised Sarah and Abraham, mercy to their children, forever. Most holy be Your Name. INTERCESSIONS For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts, for all our intentions spoken and unspoken, we pray. OUR MOTHER Jesus taught us to call God Abba. The Holy Spirit is teaching us to also call God Amma, and so we, as women, have the courage to say: Amma in heaven, Holy is Thy Name. Your reign is coming. 69 as we have forgiven our offenders. Do not let us enter into temptation. Deliver us from error. Amen. PRAYER O God, Mother and Father in One, we live in constant need. Help us to remember to come to You as your beloved children. You are both father and mother to us, tending our days with protective and nurturing love. We thank You, and we ask You to help us to forgive as we have been forgiven, to give as we have received, through Jesus Christ, our brother and your Beloved Son. Amen.
