May 5, 1910, at Korrapadu, Proddatur Taluk; s. of Pedda Narapa Reddy ; Agriculturist ; Offered Individual Satyagraha and imprisoned for six months from in the Alipuram Camp Jail ; Also a fine of Rs. 100/- was levied ; was a Member of the D.C.C. Chinna Obula Reddy, Sareddy : b. November 11, 1915, at Peddapasupula, Jammalamadugu Taluk ; s. of Chinna Venkata Subba Reddy ; Took up public service after graduation ; Worked in the Congress Party, ; Served as Member, D.C.C.; Led the Individual Satyagraha Movement in 1941 in his Taluk and organized the first District Kisan Conference at Paluru ; Offered Individual Satyagraha at Chennuru ; Sentenced on to three months S.I. and a fine of Rs. 100/-, in default, to undergo further one month S.I. ; Did not pay the fine ; Served the term of imprisonment in the Vellore and Alipuram Jails ; After release from Jail, worked as Sympathiser of the Communist Party of India and finally took its Membership in May 1945 ; Member, Lok Sabha, ; Member, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, ; Again elected to the Lok Sabha during the 1962, 1967 and 1971 elections from the Cuddapah constitutency. Gangi Reddy, N.P. : Resident of Kothagangareddipalli ; s. of Muni Reddy ; While a student, participated in the Quit India Movement and underwent R.I. from to in the Alipuram Camp Jail. Gangi Reddy, Nallaballe : b. May 20, 1922, at Kovaramguttapalle, Pulivendla Taluk ; s. of Narasayya ; Teacher ; Passed Hindi Rashtra Bhasha Visarada and Pracharak ; Actively associated with the Quit India Movement and underwent three years R.I. from in the Alipuram Camp Jail. Gangisetty, Kpparapu : b ; Resident of Venkatapuram, Kamalapuram Taluk ; s. of Venkata Setty ; Businessman ; Offered Satyagraha in 1941 but was not arrested ; Associated with the Quit India Movement and was remanded for 40 days in the Cuddapah Sub-Jail ; Awarded nine months R.I. on and served the period in the Alipuram Camp Jail ; Soon after the expiry of the sentence, was detained upto under the D.I.R. in the Vellore and Thanjavur Jails. 8

Gurunadha Sarma, Marupeddy : Resident of Kondayapalle ; s. of Sitarama Sarma ; Sentenced on to one year R.I. under the D.I.R. for raising anti-war slogans ; Confined in the Vellore and Alipuram Jails. Hussain Saheb, Dudekula : Resident of Pydipalem, Pulivendla Taluk ; s. of Fakeer Saheb ; Took part in the Individual Satyagraha Movement ; Suffered two months R.I. from in the Vellore Central Jail.
