Our differences involve which biases we are tempted to let rule instead if God s Word, the Bible: - Church tradition bias - Current science consensus bias - Politically correct cultural conditioning bias - Personal perspective due to life experience bias... It s easy to isolate among peers who agree, but integrity will study the best from all sides. Theology: the foundation for TRUE Knowledge The term Theology (from theos & logikos), means the "logical study of God. Keep in mind that even atheists have a theological perspective that is the root beneath their worldview. All of their beliefs are colored by their theological filter that insists, There is NO God. Latin for "knowledge" is scientia; Greek is gnosis, An agnostic is a person not yet convinced that God exists. Agnostic means, "without knowledge". This sounds better, but has little to no biblical evidence. Biblically Consistent WORLDVIEW Theodicy is the theological study of this issue. It is the problem of God and natural evil. Some Old-Earth (Death-Before-Adam) Christians want us to believe God caused animal suffering before Adam because God knew Adam was going to sin later. This is ethically inconsistent in real time.
