WINNING EVERY BATTLE KEYS TO WIN EVERY BATTLE Thy Kingdom come on earth, Thy will be done as it is in heaven. Christ Revealed, Church Reformed, City Rebuilt Every time after the conference, God demands us to go up to the next level. It is not a very comfortable time because it requires change and it is not a time to relax and go back to what we are familiar with. The words that God spoke to the nations, we must go up to the next level. This is the season where God is shaking everything that can be shaken. If we see Malaysia, never in history we see things happening as what we see right now. Everything that can be shaken is shaken. It is not for confusion but God has a plan. He knows what Malaysia will become. In the midst of shaking, God is waiting for the righteous people to arise. Sadly, the righteous people always take the backseat and allow the wicked people to move forward. If we continue to have this attitude and take the backseat, the Kingdom of God will never materialize. The Kingdom of God suffers violence and only the violent will take it by force. Something of aggressiveness must arise and say that we don t want to be at the backseat anymore. God has deposit into us the governing grace. We cannot be a governor and stay at the backseat. We must be able to give the direction and the one that commands. Something has to happen that the church will say she will not take the backseat anymore. God has given us a new assignment and a greater vision to see the plans of God materialize in Muar. The Spirit of God must arise from within our lives. For things to happen in Muar, it does not just drop from heaven. Someone has to arise to bring the change. The more people arise the more powerful it will be. God is waiting for those who will take His word and run with it. It is time for change to happen in our lives. When we are changed, Malaysia will change. Don t be confused of what is happening in our lives now. God is shaking us and renovating us. He is rebuilding us to take us to the next level. God has to use somebody and a person to touch another. This is the most amazing time we are living in. If we prepare ourselves for God to change our lives, we will be used mightily. A slave girl impacted Naaman when she told him there s a place where he can get healed. What she spoke gave hope to the family. For people to be touched by God, someone must introduce God to them. We can be anybody but when we open our mouth to speak for God, supernatural things can happen. We don t know what is going to happen until God position us well. When we speak, things will happen. We never know when our words will change another person. A major change is coming in Malaysia. We have to be accurately positioned in every battle. If we are wrongly positioned, we cannot enter. We must be at the right side of the door; business, school, family, etc. If we are not ready, we cannot enter. We are the key and God build things into our lives. God will open up opportunities every day and every time and something supernatural will happen. If we are expecting it, we will find it. Life is like that. If God is on our side, who can be against us? God will cause all things to work together. The problem with us is that we are trying too hard. 1Ch 14:1 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David with cedar trees, masons and carpenters, to build a house for him. 1Ch 14:2 And David realized that the LORD had established him as king over Israel, and that his kingdom was highly exalted, for the sake of His people Israel. 1 1
David realized that God has done great things in his life. Other kings are doing something for him and realize that God has raised him up for His people. 1. God is going to position us with stature to resource God s people for greatness This is our primary assignment. God is going to lift us up higher and position us and bless us. He will put money in our hands, family, people, skills, etc. All these are for one reason. It is to become the source of blessing for God s people. Sometimes Christian doesn t want to go up higher. God cannot use useless people who don t even want to help themselves. If we want to win every battle in life and go up higher, defeat every attack, then we must allow God to position us with purpose. If we are no good to ourselves and can t even meet our own needs and cannot stand strong and cannot fight, then we cannot be a blessing to anybody. We will be struggling and not fighting the battles of life well. God cannot use us to change others. Selfish people are no use to anybody. Everything is for themselves. They even pray for themselves and do not value any other people s life. If we want to win the way, we must have the desire to rise to the top to better serve God s people. God must find a man who will stand up for God s people. When we build God s house, God will look after our house. If we don t know this, then we don t understand of being a true child of the Living God. When we choose, choose to live like this. Ask God to give us stature and blessing so that we can bless God s Kingdom. Then our whole life will change. We must set the right priority to do God s will first. Choose Him first and choose God s people first and God will supernaturally bless us. We must desire to rise up and become better as a Christian and a child of the living God. For God to bless us with money or anything is not a problem. The issue is can God trust us and bless us with all of these? Will we run away after we are blessed? We don t bless when we become rich. We bless at whatever position we are now and God will expand us. We must know how to sow in God. When we sow, we will reap. Who is being blessed by our life? When the heart is ready, God will bless us supernaturally so that we can bless God s people. We must be at our best so that we can champion the course of God. If we don t know how can we help others? We must be positioned with stature so that we can resource others to greatness. We can make somebody successful. When we become successful, the first person we think must be God s people. If we don t have this attitude, we will never win. Sometimes God lifted people up to the next level, their hearts will be exposed. In these 6 to 8 months, God is lifting us up to the next level. Don t lose our chance. We must solidly ground ourselves, change our attitude, lifestyle, etc. The world is not looking for us or creates opportunity for us. We must sort out our life and take us up higher and stronger and more aggressive, ready and sharper with cutting edge. We must not just do the meager things of this world. Get ourselves ready for better things. In us all the families of the earth will be blessed. The better we are, the better others can be. Don t be at our worst. Be at our best and we will become a source of blessing. The more we know the better we are and we can help other people. If we don t know what to do, we cannot give any instruction to anybody. If our family is not strong, we cannot help 2 2
other families. If we get better, we will know how to handle situations in life. And when we are at our best, we can become a source of blessing. If we are not winning, we cannot help others to win. Get better in the next 6 to 8 months by another 20%. When we become better, we will become more useful. We cannot trust those who only think for themselves. We cannot trust selfish life. They will only change for themselves. If we want to get better, we must ask WHY. We must know what is it for. Be a quality Christian who knows how to pray, preach and prophesy. When we are at our best, we can help others. We must become better and profitable. 1Ch 14:3 Then David took more wives at Jerusalem, and David became the father of more sons and daughters. 1Ch 14:4 These are the names of the children born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, 1Ch 14:5 Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet, 1Ch 14:6 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 1Ch 14:7 Elishama, Beeliada and Eliphelet. No matter how great we are, if our family collapse, everything is lost. The power base will be lost. Whatever we do, we must make sure our marriage is strong. Don t become bullied by our children. Sometimes we have allowed our children to decide more than we should. 2. Guide and guard all our interpersonal relationships so that it will be for strength and synergy We must make sure our family is strong. We don t want to build relationship that will make us weaker and does not give us strength. If we are strong and mix with those who are weak, we will become weaker. We must become stronger and that s why our marriage must be well. Husband and wife must pray together and become stronger together. Our spiritual leadership must first come from the home. If we cannot rule our family well, we cannot rule outside. If relationships are not strong, then there is no strength. 2 cannot walk together unless we see the same thing. If we can agree like this, our marriage will become strong. When people don t have strength at home, they will fail outside. When we are strong at home, the enemy will not able to penetrate. No demonic power can touch us. This is the kind of relationship we must have. Sometimes the devil attacked from far range. If the devil is going to attack us, it will use those who have the closest connection to us to attack us. The devil will find an entrance to get us through those closest to us. We need to be careful and make sure our marriage is well so that no one can penetrate our home. Those who are closest to us must be clean and we must have a standard in our life. All relationship must be for strength and synergy. If we want to win every battle, we must be surrounded with the right people. The right people will not allow the enemy to come near us. Sometimes we open our hearts to people to quickly and make friend with anybody and everybody. There are many different level of people in the church. We must make sure trouble does not spring up from within. We must make sure our children and family will rise up together with us. 3 3
Guard our marriage first, children then all those who are connected to us. We must make sure the legacy we receive is not leprosy. If we are spiritually well, we will become a source of blessing to others. 1Ch 14:8 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up in search of David; and David heard of it and went out against them. 3. We must learn to identify our enemy and know what he is attacking In every battle the enemy has a plan. We must know what the enemy is attacking. If it is finance, there is a way to fight. If it is integrity, there is a way to protect it. The Philistines are afraid of David because they knew Samuel s anointing and what he had done. Samuel had the anointing to keep the enemy out and David received the anointing. Samuel s anointing was protecting Israel. We need to know what the devil is attacking. What is the enemy trying to do in our life? Find out exactly what he is trying to do. When we know, we can rise. If our testimony is gone, the battle is lost. It s not just finance but the confidence in God. Sometimes our faith level will drop and become confused. What is the enemy attacking? If we can identify it, we can do the right thing. If we need money panic and fear is not the answer. We must sit down and find out. When the enemy attacks us we must find the best solution for the problem. Sometimes the devil keeps attacking on our time. We want to be faithful but the devil always put us in confusion. Suddenly there is a tug of war between us and God. The devil keeps us busy so that we cannot fulfill the call of God. So many battles of life can be fought easily when we do the right thing. If we bring light in, darkness will have to go. If we bring life, death will have to go. If we truth, lies will have to go. If the enemy is after our time, plan well. If the devil is attacking our strength, exercise and eat well and do something to get ourselves healthy. Shut down the plans of the enemy and we will be able to come through. What we say cannot be done, other people are doing it. If others can do it, we can do it too. We must shut down the powers of the enemy and we will succeed. If we want to become better, the enemy will look for us. He fights with intensity, we must also fight with intensity. 4 4
4. Follow God s counsel for explicit obedience 1Ch 14:10 David inquired of God, saying, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? And will You give them into my hand?" Then the LORD said to him, "Go up, for I will give them into your hand." 1Ch 14:11 So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there; and David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like the breakthrough of waters." Therefore they named that place Baalperazim. 1Ch 14:12 They abandoned their gods there; so David gave the order and they were burned with fire. 1Ch 14:13 The Philistines made yet another raid in the valley. 1Ch 14:14 David inquired again of God, and God said to him, "You shall not go up after them; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees. 1Ch 14:15 "It shall be when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall go out to battle, for God will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines." 1Ch 14:16 David did just as God had commanded him, and they struck down the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even as far as Gezer. Every battle can be won if we follow God s counsel and keep focus to do what God asks us to do. The first time the enemy came, God said go. The second time God said wait but follow some instructions. Every battle can be won. If we follow God s instructions, we can win. One of the reason why we don t win the battle is because we don t do what God tells us to do. He will never tell us to do something if He is not involved. We must learn to work hand in hand with God and shut down the work of the enemy. When God speaks, follow the instructions. The next 6 to 8 months are important months. Stop doing nonsense. We must do what is right. Do what the Holy Spirit is speaking and not doing what we used to do. 5 5
