1 Welcome to ROLLO s Extended Donor Profile ROLLO voluntarily provided the following information which will be disclosed to future parents as an aid in their selection General information and characteristics Height: 170 cm Weight: 72 kg Build: Athletic Shoe size: 42 Clothing size: Medium Skin tone: Fair Facial shape: Oval Lips: Medium /Green Eyebrows: Dark brown Beard: Dark brown Hair: Brown, thick and wavy Words that describe my personality would be: Calm, funny, trustworthy and loyal. I am also good with kids and animals. ROLLO does not wear prescription lenses. He suffers from grass allergy. He has no other medical conditions or physical abnormalities. ROLLO resembles the English soccer player Michael Owen, the British actor Orlando Bloom and the Canadian actor Michael J. Fox. Click here for photos of Michael, Orlando and Michael. Academics ROLLO went to school for a total of 15 years including primary and lower secondary school. After finishing high school, he took some evening classes in Physics. Afterwards he began studying to become a teacher. ROLLO s educational goal is to finish his bachelor s degree and possibly also study a master s degree. His former jobs include working as a junior manager in a super market, in a factory and as a bartender. ROLLO has carried out voluntary work setting up a local festival and as a soccer coach. ROLLO s native language is Danish and he also speaks English, French and German. He has not served in the military. My educational goal is to finish my bachelor s degree and possibly a master s degree.
2 Q&A with ROLLO ROLLO answers questions about his life, experiences, and good memories Which words describe your personality? Calm, funny, trustworthy, loyal. Describe your strong sides: You are so calm and confident about yourself. That is the biggest compliment I have ever recieved. My strong sides are definitely that I am calm. I am very good with kids and animals, they just seem to like my calm spirit. Kids and animals are usually shy towards strangers. But I seem to connect with them immediately. I take pride in that. And I think it is because I m calm and self-confident. I think they pick up on that and feel that they can trust me right away. I am also very playful. I enjoy sports and games a lot. I am very loyal to the people I care about. I am very talented when it comes to learning languages. I ve also been told that I am a very talented writer and speaker. In sports I have played soccer and handball at a top level. I am also very competitive, which benefits me in my studies, sports and in life in general. I don t like to lose but I accept and respect defeat. I am very open minded when it comes to alternative lifestyles. I believe that all humans are born equally. Describe your weak sides: This could also be considered a strong side but I tend to get very emotionally involved in the things and with the people I care about. That means I am a sore loser when it comes to games. It was a lot worse as a child, a problem even, but now I am an adult and I am able to handle it well. As I said I get very emotionally involved with the people I associate with. That means I get very upset whenever people forget dates and appointments and I cannot tolerate when people lie to me. That will make me very sad. What is your marital status? Married. Do you have any children? Yes. My daughter is 1 year old. She is 76 cm. She weighs 12 kg. Born with dark brown hair, which has gone a bit blonde - so did my own hair as a child, and it is dark brown today. She has big brown/green eyes. She has grown a lot her first year. Above average but not abnormally. I think she is still quite tall for her age. Her motoric development has been very good. She is a very open child. She smiles at everyone and is afraid of nothing. She loves animals. She is used to cats but even when we meet a dog and dogs are generally more aggressive, which scares a lot of small kids but not my daughter. She will just laugh. I think she is happier than the average kid. She doesn t cry as much as the average children does, I would say. She is also easy to comfort whenever she gets upset. Which types of sport do you play or have played? Soccer, handball, underwater rugby, American football.
3 Q&A with ROLLO - Continued ROLLO answers questions about his life, experiences, and good memories Which other types of sports are you interested in? It is almost easier to mention the ones I am not interested in. I am not so interested in motorsports (unless it is rally). Apart from that any sport goes, but I really love soccer and handball. List any other hobbies you may have or have had: I have been a boy scout. I enjoy fishing a lot. Describe the best holiday you have had: Nice in the South of France. I went there with my girlfriend at that time, who turned out to be the girl I married. We were there for two weeks and had the best time. The weather and the blue sea was amazing. We also went on a bustrip to Èzevillage to enjoy the beautiful southern France scenary. In Denmark we don t have any mountains so I am always stunned and amazed by the magnificent sight a mountain is. The most beautiful mountains I have ever seen was in Austria where I went rapelling once. What do you like the most about your own country: Our coastline. The coastline in Denmark is amazing. At the moment I live the furthest from the coastline I have ever done and I think I can feel that. I feel a very strong connection to the sea. Not in any weird spritual way, the sea just calms me a lot. Even though I am the furthest away from the coast that I have ever been, I live only about km from the sea. List which musical instruments you play or have played: None sadly. But I would really like to play an instrument. I enjoy singing though, and I m not too bad at that either. Religion: Christian, protestant. How many hours of sleep do you get on an average night? 8. Do you eat healthy? I try. Do you smoke? No. Do you ride a bicycle? Often. How much alcohol do you drink on average per week? I drink very little. Maybe one beverage a week. Which countries have you visited: Denmark of course. Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Monaco, Switzerland, Spain, Ireland, Nothern Ireland, England, Egypt.
4 Q&A with ROLLO - continued ROLLO s dreams, favourites and experiences Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? I have idolized many famous players but they have all been based on their football skills. I think my real hero is my grandad. My mom s father. He was the funniest guy I have ever come across. But he still had this aura of calmness and security about him. And I really try to live up to that. My father is a great hero of mine as well. That is because of his kindness. Everywhere I go people tell me about my father s kindness. I take big pride in that, and wish that people will tell the same stories about me sometime. What are your goals in life? A couple of years ago my goals were to get married and to have children. I am married now and I have one daughter. My goals now must be then to have more children and just watch them grow up and become successful human beings. What were your childhood dreams: To become a professional soccer player. I persued this dream intensly and was on the verge of achieving it. I then ran into some minor injuries but I never recovered fully. I continued to play soccer for some years at a semi-professional level. Now I only play as a hobby. Which values do you rank the highest? Loyalty and honesty. Kindness. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? My parents got married when I was about 10 years old. It touched me. The way they looked at each other. I think it was the time I realised that I was going to get married and have my own kids someday. What is your favourite colour? Green. It is the colour of the grass. What is your favourite animal? Lion. It is my zodiac as well. It is just a majestic animal. Calm and strong. What is your favourite kind of food? Any Italian, Mexican or Asian food. What is your favourite kind of music? I listen mainly to pop music. But I have a very broad taste. I listen to everything from 1920 s jazz to death metal. But songs that you can sing along with are the best. What is your favourite kind of car? I ve never really been into cars. But if I have to choose one it will be an Audi R8. What is your favourite kind of pet? As a child I loved dogs. But now as an adult I have two cats. They are just easier and cheaper than dogs to take care of. What is your favourite time of year? In summer I miss winter. And in winter I miss summer. What is your favourite book and/or author? Benny Andersen. What is your favourite movie and/or director? One Flew Over the Cuckoo s Nest. Which was your greatest experience or moment? The birth of my daughter. And I could put that in as the happiest, funniest, scariest and proudest as well but I will come up with something else. Happiest: My 10 years birthday. Funniest: High school. Just that time in general was so funny. Scariest: Rappelling from mountains in Austria. Proudest: When I got married. Most dangerous: I ve been a passenger of two cars that crashed. But none were injured in either of the crashes. Luckily. Greatest sorrow: When my grandad died. My mom s father.
