23 ABOUT MIT PROGRAM MEDICAL INTUITION DEVELOP X-RAY VISION YES! It s Possible This ability necessitates the use of an [authentic vision] to ascertain the actual past, present and future condition of the human body, one which supports correct insight to diagnosis. 25 HOW MIT DIFFERS FROM SOAR MIT - Differs from the SOAR program because of the energy used. SOAR Development was predicated on the view of Astral Energy, and even Mental Plane Energy, as these are conducive to seeing life on the Other- Side (the Astral Plane), and life in Heaven (the Mental Plane). As such, the practitioner uses the 14 or 256-dimensional connection to connect higher and receive information downwards - though it is also possible to send information, messages, images etc. upwards to some life-form in those upper Planes. MIT uses an energy that exists in the Physical Plane - however, this is an invisible energy to the untrained eye. As it is above our current level of evolution, it is invisible, yet it has three sub-plains that are just as functional as the four subplanes we are currently using. 36 THE SUB-CONSCIOUS MIND Understanding how the mind works is critical to attracting and enjoying abundance, wealth, prosperity, and affluence. The part of your brain that you are aware of is your Conscious Mind. On the flip side of is the Subconscious Mind-the part of your brain you are unaware of. The Mind and the Brain are two different things: The Brain is the three-pound organ in your head. It is tangible. The Mind is something larger and more elusive. It is intangible. The Mind works through the Brain, which is why brain health is so important. You must take care of your brain and feed your brain the nourishment it requires, such as oxygen, minerals (especially Potassium), vitamins and B-vitamins, and trace elements to name a few. Cognitive science has had much impact in understanding how the mind works because it shows that, while the mind's processes cannot be directly observed, they can be explored by means of circumstantial evidence. Even as physicists cannot see electrons, muons or other subatomic particles but infer their properties from the tracks they leave in a cloud chamber, so cognitive scientists deduce the nature of the mind's machinery from what happens to information fed into it. Eliezer Sternberg, a neurologist at Yale-New Haven Hospital, writes about how consciously learned behavior can become habitual: There are two parallel systems in the brain that control behavior. When we practice a behavior enough, we can automate it, allowing the habit system to take over. This frees up the conscious, non-habit system to focus on something else. For example, the complex activity of driving a car requires vision, touch and exquisite motor control. But it can become mostly unconscious when the driver takes the same route day after day. But they are observing rats in a maze. How cute, but can you teach them to do tricks? Christian Toren takes the research beyond the psychological playground, and incorporates the inherent wisdom of spirituality. STATES OF MIND Science has discovered that there are four states of mind: Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta Author and lecturer on the mind, Tania Kotsos, defines these states in the following passage: Beta (12-30Hz): Beta brain waves are associated with normal waking consciousness and a heightened state of alertness, logic and critical reasoning. As you go about your daily activities you are at Beta. Although important for effectively functioning in everyday life, higher Beta levels translate into stress, anxiety and restlessness. With the majority of adults primarily operating at Beta during their waking hours it is little wonder that stress is today's most common 35

38 health problem. The voice of Beta is the little nagging chatterbox of your inner critic, which becomes louder and more relentless the higher you go in the range. Alpha (7.5-12Hz): Alpha brain waves are present in deep relaxation with the eyes usually closed and while day-dreaming. The relaxed detached awareness achieved during light meditation is characteristic of Alpha and is optimal for programming your mind for success. Alpha heightens your imagination, visualization, memory, learning and concentration. It lies at the base of your conscious awareness and is the gateway to your subconscious mind. The renowned Silva Method by Jose Silva is premised on the power of Alpha. The voice of Alpha is your intuition, which becomes clearer and more profound the closer you get to 7.5Hz. Theta (4-7.5Hz): Theta brain waves are present during deep meditation and light sleep, including the REM dream state. Theta is the realm of your subconscious mind. It is also known as the twilight state as it is normally only momentarily experienced as you drift off to sleep (from Alpha) and arise from deep sleep (from Delta). A sense of deep spiritual connection and oneness with the Universe can be experienced at Theta. Vivid visualizations, great inspiration, profound creativity, exceptional insight as well as your mind's most deep-seated programs are all at Theta. The voice of Theta is silence. Delta (0.5-4Hz): The Delta frequency is the slowest and is present in deep, dreamless sleep and in very deep, transcendental meditation where awareness is completely detached. Delta is the realm of your unconscious mind. It is the gateway to the Universal mind and the collective unconscious whereby information received is otherwise unavailable at the conscious level. Delta is associated with deep healing and regeneration, underlining the importance of deep sleep to the healing process. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW The Delta state (3 cps and lower) is the sleep state wherein there is no consciousness-the state we visit the lower 4th dimensional plane (astral realm) and where dreaming occurs. COMPARING CONSCIOUSNNESS TO SUB-CONSCIOUS We hold memory in both Conscious Mind and Subconscious Mind. Memory in the Conscious Mind is short-term and limited. 36

39 The memory in the Subconscious Mind is unlimited. It stores every thought you ve ever had. Every sense is also stored there from smell, sight, sound, taste, and feeling (or touch). Every emotion from birth is stored in the Subconscious Mind. AND THERE IS THE RUB. It is the Emotions that essentially compose the subconscious mind. Christian Toren uses this discovery to reverse the process, and supplant ineffective programming with our destined reality. The Subconscious Mind is awake 24-hours a day and never sleeps. It is awake even when you re under anesthesia. Although we draw from it as a matter of route, it is programmed by emotion. It is also better programmed at certain times, a rather unique discovery that also takes its cues from ancient esoteric wisdom. Christian employs this magical programming time in the Christian Toren method. The Conscious mind is rational, logical, and mathematical. The Subconscious Mind takes everything literally. This plays into a thing called organ language where the organs take everything (stored in the Subconscious Mind) literally. The Christian Toren method takes advantage of this mechanical process, to incorporate true reprogramming through emotions experienced [on another dimension] and at a magical programming cycle. And all from something imagined in your head (mind). Magical thinking means you can literally change your life by changing your mind. There is dormant in each human being a faculty, whether developed or not, which will enable that particular individual to succeed if the desire for success is present in his conscious mind. Thus wrote the authors of The Sub-Conscious Speaks. This faculty has always been known and recognized for its strange and unusual powers, but not until about a century and a half ago did psychologists who made it the subject of their special investigation and experimentation, call it the subconscious mind. Emerson was certainly aware of the dual character of the human mental organization when he wrote in his Journals, I find one state of mind does not remember or conceive of another state. Thus I have written within a twelve-month verses [ Days ] which I do not remember the composition or correction of, and could not write the like today, and have only for proof of their being mine, various external evidences, as the 38

41 manuscript. in which I find them, and the circumstances that I have sent copies of them to friends, etc., etc. Reality author Robert C. Worstell speaks to a process he has termed Magic of Believing. He is correct! Today the words conscious and subconscious are widely understood. It is recognized that we all have two minds, each one endowed with separate and distinct attributes and powers, and each one capable, under certain conditions, of independent action. There is no difficulty in comprehending that the conscious mind operates in the brain, for whenever you do any concentrated thinking, you feel it in your head. Sometimes the thought is so intense and prolonged that your head aches, or your eyes become tired, or your temples throb. Also, you can generally trace the source of the thought. It may be suggested by something you have seen or heard or read; perhaps it is a new idea for your business or home; maybe it is the continuation of some thought you have been pondering for a long time in short, you can connect it with something already related to your consciousness. Sometimes your thought is concerned with trying to solve a difficult problem, and you have become so exhausted and discouraged at failing to arrive at a solution that you give it up, let the whole thing go, dismiss it from your mind, an action you often take at night when you can t sleep because of the thought that is pounding and gripping your brain. The moment you let it go, it begins to sink, as though it were moving downward somewhere inside of you. The tension in your conscious mind then decreases and you are soon asleep. The next morning when you wake up, your conscious mind begins to think again about the problem, when suddenly there appears before your mind s eyes a mental picture of the complete solution, with all the necessary directions for appropriate action on your part. 39

42 HOW THE CONSCIOUS MIND WORKS It s practically a computer. Here s what it can do: The Subconscious Mind does not work on any logic; therefore, it believes anything that it is told by the conscious mind. Without your actually knowing, your subconscious mind is regulating your breathing, hear beats, maintain blood pressure, regulating body temperature and multiple other body related functions which is made up of about 6 trillion cells. Whatever information you have received in your entire life via reading, touching, seeing, smelling, tasting, felt has been stored in your subconscious mind. The subconscious constantly communicates with the conscious mind via our subconscious, and is what provides us with the meaning to all our interactions with the world, as filtered through your beliefs and habits. It communicates through feelings, emotions, imagination, sensations, and dreams. The subconscious mind is a like a big memory bank that stores your beliefs, memories and life experiences. This information that is stored in your subconscious mind always affects your behavior and actions in different situations. Here is another example that will help you understand how the subconscious mind works. If you lack self-confidence because of certain beliefs that you have about yourself (that are stored in your subconscious mind) then you might start to feel anxious around people. In this case you felt anxious because your subconscious mind had false information that made you believe that you were in danger while in fact you were not. One of the very interesting facts about the way the subconscious mind works is that it won't only affect your behavior but it will also affect your perception of events. If in the previous case you saw two people smiling while looking at you then you might believe that they were making fun of you. Your subconscious mind follows a rule called "you get what you focus on". Because you had a false belief about yourself you found a proof for it even though it wasn't real. The Subconscious only thinks in the present. If in using affirmations to get something you say I WILL.(whatever), or I m GOING TO (whatever), 40

43 you re thinking in the future which the Subconscious knows nothing about. The key to making Mind Power work is to trick the Subconscious into believing you already have what you want NOW. State affirmations in the present, act and feel as if you NOW have what you want. The subconscious mind will always gravitate to what it knows, not what is best for you. The mind likes known quantities. Unknowns are seen as scary to the subconscious mind, because it cannot calculate a known outcome with an unknown variable. This is why people tend to repeat thoughts and behaviors that they know. They will stay in the same abusive relationship or always go down a familiar path because it is what they know and their mind understands the outcome. This is why to create change, you must override the mind and take a risk. To create change you must allow for an unknown variable - something different that the mind is not yet aware of. One of my favorite sayings is "You don't know what you don't know." The mind thinks it knows everything. And, in a way it does. It knows everything it knows. But it doesn't know everything that is possible. The unknown is [accessible] however, though this has to do with the actual spiritual connection the subconscious maintains it doesn t avail itself to this venue unless told to do so in a specific fashion, and truth be told, at a specific time. THE SUB-CONSCIOUS BECOMES REALITY Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality. Earl Nightingale The Mind operates in what is called the Known. The Sub-conscious operates in what is called the Unknown. This is also why the sub-conscious is sometimes referred to as the iceberg as it hides about 90% of its content. Although we will concede this is a common perception of those that study the mind, the Christian Toren method would add that content IS ACCESSIBLE! That key to unlock the secrets is an element of the Christian Toren method. The Mind is the part of your brain that looks at things logically. We ve said this many times now, but it is quintessential that you understand what differentiates the conscious from the subconscious mind. 41

44 The Mind uses a rather curious human ability known as reason, and it makes plans that you then execute - or not this can be considered an aspect of a Program. It translates your varied senses into something [practical] for everyday use (and we should consider this somewhat analogous to the box that people live in. Also, it groups various pieces of information to assist you so you don t get overloaded and so that you can feel in control when things get stressful. It is a quintessential requirement of the mind to feel it is in control and so, working around this requires a special technique enter the Christian Toren method. Your mind works in this real-world common to everyone and is demonstrable through a checking process to see if something is true or not. Progress in the KNOWN via the Mind is predictable and mostly slow, but it is sure. This is where most of your practical knowledge comes into play. It is your Outer World. But, there is also an Inner World: The Mind is also passing on information to your Sub-Conscious. Everything gets passed. It only stops doing this when you sleep and your Sub-Conscious has some time to decompress and reconnect to the Unknown. Getting your Mind to switch off is very difficult. In fact, it is so difficult that some people dedicate their entire lives trying to accomplish this very thing, by tapping out of normal life and becoming monks. The Christian Toren method overcomes this problem. Andrew Carnegie had said "Any thought that is held in the mind that is emphasized; that is either feared or revered will immediately begin to clothe itself in the most appropriate physical form available." AN EXAMPLE OF THE PROBLEM: A woman is in a relationship and does not trust his or her partner.although her partner has given her no reason not to trust him. But she can t shake the feeling. He is very frustrated because he has done nothing to warrant her distrust. She is frustrated because, rationally/consciously she knows that. but still can t change the feeling. This problem can be corrected with the Christian Toren method. 42

45 YOU, STRESS AND THE SUB-CONSCIOUS MIND Stressed people often live with a fear mindset that generates millions of negative thoughts. Our limitations can control our behavior and keep us hostage in a never-ending stress spiral. The way we think is usually what directs our limitations, not so much by outside influences. To reduce your stress levels and become more emotionally resilient, you need to engage the power of your subconscious mind. Our behavior is governed by our unconscious mind. We may THINK we know why we do what we do, but more often than not, we haven t a clue. Your subconscious mind plays a huge role in how you cope with stress. Research in meditation shows that the act of meditation not only calms your thought processes, but shifts the brain waves from Alpha (highly active) to Theta (highly conscious, but very relaxed). Mystics remind us that meditation is a way to domesticate the ego so that we can respond, not react to our problems. Although the ego in the brain has not been located (by science, that is esoteric wisdom places it outside of our physical reality) they have located a portion of the brain associated with mystical experiences (now called the God part of the brain), which by the way, does not appear to be active during periods of intense stress! Meditation, it is said, helps to make the unconscious mind conscious. This is truly a good thing, because it allows you to navigate your life journey by avoiding the shoals that can cause metaphorical shipwrecks. The Christian Toren method takes this psychological concept much further we have something better we can use than meditation. We also can have a greater degree of certainty of change. We know that the timing of the process is enhanced about 90% if the timing of the event is considered. We even can know exactly when we will have the most direct access to the subconscious. The subconscious mind doesn t judge or ask any questions, it just uses its energies to move us to where we need to go. All this happens and what we need to do runs according to what we have done in the past. To this I want to put particular importance on the phrase the Past, because it turns out [our past lives] are unknowingly where we get the information we use to reprogram the subconscious when to our mind it seems we are pulling it out of thin air. 43

46 It Gives Us Belief. Often when faced with a challenging or nerve-wracking situation, it is our subconscious mind that comes through to tell us we can do it. As we go through life, our subconscious is accumulating memories of times when we have succeeded and storing them for use later on. Even if you are faced with a situation that you have never encountered before, your subconscious can push you on because it remembers times when you have conquered a new obstacle. For this reason, it is important to consistently place yourself in uncomfortable positions that require you to call on your self-belief. Each time you rise to the occasion that subconscious confidence grows even further. Before long, you will have built a base of self-assurance that can get you through any new challenge. THE CHRISTIAN TOREN TECHNIQUE If your mind is able to imagine the difference between your Reality, and what you think your reality should have been, then the key exists to unlock a fantastic world of transformation. The Christian Toren Method is new. It is unique. But, of importance is that it works. And, we know just why it works. A lot of the rules and approaches we as humans have taken to therapies must be thrown out the window, they are all based on an untrue fact that we are in total a physical human being. The truth would show that that is simply one aspect or component of who and what we are. Understanding the others provides significant avenues to transform ourselves. The Christian Toren Method uses what we have learned over the recent years, one that there is a sub-conscious mind, and also includes a quintessential component that draws many key elements of fact from the ancient esoteric wisdom. It is this combination that makes Lucid Dreaming a true healing modality. This combination, and thusly, this method, is a proprietary process brought forward by Dr. Christian Toren von Lähr. It presumes as a fact that the existence of man and his consciousness occurs over many [Planes] of Consciousness, 44

47 and that our reality is a perception only, and that it exists in a realm we consider the Physical. The magic behind how we can reprogram the subconscious mind can t be explained by modern medical and psychological theories, but it is straightforwardly considered in esoteric wisdom. This mystery, which heretofore is simply an unknown takes advantage of curious elements, such as timing the timing of when we reprogram our subconscious is paramount. The existence of ourselves, and all those who have affected us in this physical life needs to be handled as a perception, not a reality this provides the literal means to reprogram the subconscious since it does NOT KNOW the difference. Our method differs from almost every self-help process and psychosocial therapy in that it acknowledges that the Conscious mind DOES AND WILL GET IN THE WAY. And so, the method must get around this deterrent. The Method presumes we are inescapably attached to the people and process that made up our thinking all of our lives. This is a new thought in the process of mind therapy. We are, nonetheless, committed to this fundamental. The PLAY of our existence has been written. We can [recast] the players, and repaint the sets, and we can even rewrite the lines, but the play itself must remain. Lastly, we add a new component as to how the sub-conscious works. You cannot just discard a bad piece of programming, BECAUSE this programming takes up valuable real estate in the brain. Brain cells cannot be wasted. If we do not want to use an area that we consider unwanted, then we must repurpose that physical area FIRST! 45
