3 Lesson One What is the ONE simple secret to intuitive opening? The most important key to developing intuitive ability is direct connection with the Divine/Universe/God/One/All. There is no other way to get there. The Divine is our only portal. Direct connection is an immediate, instantaneous, two- way communication between you and the Divine, Universe, God, All, One, Jesus, Buddha, collective soul, unified field whatever name you want to give the ineffable energy of the Universe. No middleman required: no priest, rabbi, guru, workshop leader, special technqiue, years of training none of that is needed. It s just you and the Divine, in direct connection. It s very simple the process or technique is very easy. It s not at all complicated or complex, as we ve been taught to believe. In fact If you are a person who prays, you already have some experience. If you are person who meditates, you already have a feel for it. If you are a person who finds themselves blissed out when you listen to certain music, or when you hang out in nature just listening to the breeze blow, you already know what this state feels like. 4 These sorts of trance- like, relaxed, out- of- ego activities are all ways that we lock into the hum of the Universe/Divine/One/All. We do this all the time in our normal human life. This gentle trance state, this way of entering in is one of the simplest doorways, portals or entry points to direct connection Sara Wiseman. 5 Lesson Two Why do you want to be intuitive? Intuitive practice leads to spiritual opening. Spiritual practice leads to intuitive opening. These paths are one and the same, journeyed from different directions. Please take the following quiz: I want to develop my intuitive abilities to: a) See my future b) Do readings for my friends c) Win the lottery d) All of the above e) None of the above Of course, I know you answered e) None of the above, which is the correct answer! This answer is correct because psychic development is not about being an Oracle for your life, or playing oracle for family and friends. Being able to foresee the future is one of the things that happens when you expand your psychic abilities. But it is not the purpose. That s because both the cause and the effect of intuitive development is soul growth. I first began to understand this in 2008, when I received The 33 Lessons as part of my first book Writing the Divine. During this intensive experience of channeling spiritual teachings, I experienced a complete spiritual and intuitive awakening that was to change my understanding and my life forever. 6 sat on the sofa with my laptop, receiving a steady stream of Lessons, which began with the unmistakeable statement, the purpose of life is soul growth. The purpose of life is soul growth. We are Divine beings in human containers. What else could we be here for? It was direct. Clear. True. From that moment on, I ve understood that the reason we re here on earth is not to achieve, have more stuff, lose 20 pounds, make more money but to understand we are all One, to connect deeply with each other, to open our hearts with compassion, and to work through our soul lessons with each other as best as we can. So, be forewarned: if you want to learn to be psychic so you can see the future, find your soul mate, meet you Guides, visit past lives, or practice astral projection well, all this will happen. But it s not the only thing that will happen. Every time you practice and/or use your intuitive abilities, you will also be connecting deeply to the place where the Divine resides, and where you know your true self as also God. 7 Lesson Three What are your unique ways of intuitive knowing? Learning intuition is how we remind ourselves what we knew long ago when we were stardust. Let s take a look at psychic abilities across the board. Different folks may have different opinions, but from my own teaching and research with thousands of students, here s what I consider the 10 core abilities: 1. Clairvoyance or the art of intuitive seeing. If you are clairvoyant, you will be able to see pictures in your head or movies in your mind. Some people see in what I call their mind s eye; others see visions. You might also see images that are symbolic, such as dollar sign for money. You might see spirit guides or angels, or the physical vision of people who ve died. Basically, folks who are clairvoyant receive the bulk of their information visually. 2. Clairaudience, or the art of intuitive hearing. If you re clairaudient, you ll hear things. You may hear from spirit guides, angels or other entities. You may hear a voice outside your head, or a voice in what I call your mind s ear. You may hear words as if they re coming in on a radio. You may hear music. 8 3. Clairsentience, the art of intuitive feeling. If you can feel the energy in a room or in a crowd, or if you can sense the vibe, you re clairsentient. You may take the energy of others into your body, either absorbing it or being affected by it. If you just know stuff, that s another core ability of clairsentients you don t know why, you don t see it or hear it from another source, you just know. This deep knowing is amazingly accurate, and not to be messed with! If you are clairsentient, you receive through emotion and physical feeling. 4. Channeling. People who practice channeling move aside to allow themselves to be spoken through or communicated through by other entities. For example, Esther Hicks is a channel who receives in spoken voice from an entity known as Abraham. Sometimes people channel with their voice; other times people receive via channeled writing. If you re a channel, chances are good you already know it, or have begun to suspect it. 5. Mediumship. Mediums have the ability to communicate with the Departed: deceased people and spirits. 9 6. Remote viewing is related to clairvoyance, but more specific. It deals with objects and things, more than visions and emotions. In remote viewing, you are able to see a specific object that is hidden, far away or secret you can see it clearly, describe it fully, and so forth. This seems to be a rare or unusual gift; not as many people have it. Sometimes people who struggle with the other psychic gifts, are phenomenal remote viewers. 7. Astral projection. People who astral project are able to move their spirit or energy to different places, while their bodies stay put. But it s not the same as dreaming, because it s done consciously. For example, if I astral project to a place, I ll be able to see fully the environment, buildings, go inside buildings, look clearly at things in and around the room, etc. Astral projection can also be done on the plane of time, rather than just space (past, future, etc). For example, when we do past life regression (seeing your past life) or precognition (seeing the future) we are doing astral projectino to different layers and levels of time. 8. Energy healing All intuitives work in energy. They understand how to work with energy for clearing, releasing, manifesting and healing. However, if you are an specifically gifted as a physical energy healer, you will be able to sense energy in another person s body. 10 your hands or your mind to clear someone s energy, or to heal them. Your hands may get hot and twitchy when you feel like you are ready to heal. You may have physical reactions such as shuddering, body temperature changes and more. 9. Spiritual knowing. Many intuitives have a deep, innate spirituality that they haven t learned, they haven t been taught it just is for them. Many of these are our great masters and teachers, even our saints and holy beings. 10. More to come! We re evolving as human beings. Most of our children, especially, are already extraordinary intuitives. If you re experiencing something that s not on this list, I d love to hear about it. What is your favorite gift? How do you determine what your best or most natural psychic gifts are, and what gifts you might be ready to develop? There is no hard and fast rule. And as always in this work the answer is up to you. You decide, what you feel best about. You decide, what feels easiest. What you know deeply, is what is right for you. First, take a look at 10 core abilities and consider which gift feels most familiar to you. Just feel it out. What category (or categories) feels most like you, fits 2011 Sara Wiseman. 11 you best, have you done in the past, feels most familiar, feels like you can do it easily without effort, feels like you do it all the time, feels like you know how already? Just think about it: what you know stuff, how does it happen? Do you see a vision? Do you hear a voice in your mind s ear? Do you feel it in your gut? Does your body tell you? Do you disassociate and go somewhere else to find the answer? Just take a moment, and think about how you normally feel when you have the sense that you know something intuitive. Next confirm your hunch or gut feeling, with direct connection. It s very easy to enter in and access this state: Simply close your eyes, take a deep breath, and allow yourself to receive information from the Divine about which gift is most naturally yours. As you are in this relaxed state: You may see a vision that shows you.. You may hear a message that tells you. You may have a deep knowing. You may feel it in your body. You may go somewhere else, and just know. You may experience another sense of knowing. As you connect into Divine guidance, pay attention to what you are receiving for your answer. 12 Watch for the first response: the first way the information arrives to you. Usually, the way we first receive, even for a question as simple as this one, is the tool that we are most naturally gifted at. So simply notice your process, as you explore the question what gift is natural to me? and what are the gifts I am Divinely directed to explore and what would the Divine like me to know about my gifts? And as you ask these questions and enter in to Divine space to find your answer: Let go of expectations, and simply allow this to happen. Let go of preconceived notiions, and allow the Divine to direct you. Let go of the need to force a particular answer, and allow what happens to happen. While you are in this space of direct connection, notice the feeling you have: you feel relaxed yet alert; your body may be still or sometimes swaying or moving slightly. You feel good, comfortable; all distress is taken away. Stay in this light, gentle trance for as long as you like. Trust that healing is happening, and that Light is entering. Everytime you enter Divine space, you are shifted and changed. This will happen every time you enter in, without exception. Allow this, right now. As you come out of this relaxed, easy trance, you will naturally have an idea of what gifts are most naturally yours, or what gifts you use most easily. 13 Remember: everyone is intuitive. It is part of being human. Even if you have forgotten how to be intuitive after many years of school, work, Misbeliefs, etc you can return to this natural state, simply by allowing yourself to explore and practice. You will shift to a more intuitive self over time. If you continue to practice, you can open your psychic self completely. All you need is your intention to do so, and the willingness to practice. You may find you have strong abilities in one area at first, and once you learn how to use those abilities, you may begin to open further, and soon have abilities in many areas. Sometimes, this can happen very fast! Fast or slow, intuitive opening is a journey that is always exciting, sometimes confusing, and may shake you to your core and you grow and change! Remember: as you develop intuitively, you open spirituality. This means that old beliefs and wounds are released, and new understanding comes in.
