There will lots of time to practice, along with some fun tests of each others abilities. At the end, an open discussion forum will occur, if time permits

7 Myths and Misconceptions of the Aura As we study the aura, we will be looking at popular myths and misconceptions that exist. As an Auric reader I have come across many questions and beleifs that I have found strange but I also realize that everyone has a right to their beliefs and just because I find them strange, who says that they are not correct. Beliefs come in many different forms and we will look at several examples so that you can make up your own opinion 1) You have to be a Psychic to be able to see auras This is a trick statement. The answer is no, you do not have to be a practicing psychic, or even be aware of your psychic abilities. Many people have gone through life seeing aura s without being outwardly gifted in any way. Yet, in the same breath you must have your third eye open to see auras. Everyone has a third eye, the difference is to what degree the eye is open. The same goes true for people who see ghosts. Ever wonder why some people can see ghosts and others can t? A lot of people have told me over the years that the reason for this is the degree of skepticism that a person has. Yet, there are a good many stories out there that disprove this notion. We will explore our own psychic abilities shortly and see just how open you are to seeing psychic phenomenon. 2) Auras exist only around living things Wrong. Auras exist around everything that has a molecule because of the energy generated by the atom and the electrons. Therefore, even the most in animated objects also have auras 3) Auras stay close to the body Auras in fact extend far beyond the body. Most auric readers can only see the aura up to about 3 to 4 feet from the sitters body, but research and spirit knowledge has informed us that auras can reach fascinating lengths. In fact, there are recorded stories where people have felt other come into a house

8 when they are at least 30 feet away. The feeling of dread or happiness falls over the person as soon as the other person walks in. Again the old adage, just because you can t see it, doesn t mean its not there Notes

10 4) Psychics have to be near the person to read the aura This is also false. For years i have been giving aura readings to people over the net and being as accurate as if I was right in the room with them. I believe that when we wish to see another person s aura, we automatically reach out to them and touch their auras, through the power of thought and using psychic abilities. From their, the ability the see the aura seems to be attached until the link is disconnected. However, in my experience, you don t get a real time look, as it returns as more of a snapshot than a live view of an aura. 5) Black holes or rips in aura As far as I know, and seen, these don t exist. For one thing, we are talking about energy, which does not have a physical tangible feel so how can you rip it? As for black holes or spots, the aura is constantly moving, so unless there is a serious medical problem at the location of the spot, the aura would simply move one and cover the black spot within seconds.

12 The psychic and the Aura To expand on that last statement, we have to look at what happenes when a psychic looks at an aura and the information that can be gained. By common knowledge, we know that psychics can pull the following information from an aura 1) Thoughts in the form of colors 2) Emotions in then form of colors 3) Past lives and images 4) Present life and images 5) Future things to happen But how does the psychic get this information and how does he read it? On of the most questions asked to me is how doe you see inside of someones brain or mind? The fact is that I don t, because the brain contains nothing for me to see. The brain is simply a processing place for you mind, to help process vision and hearing and all the physical things that are going on in your body. Try to sit down and perform all the tasks that your brain is doing in one split second and you will find it impossible to not only mimic it, but to list everything the brain is doing at that moment. The theory has always been that we use only one quarter of our brain, but in reality, we use it all for processing. In fact, nothing is stored in our brain in the way of memories, it is all stored in the aura. Now, you can stop being shocked by that statement. It is a new way to think, and it does take a while to get your mind around this new concept. This was given to me by Bernard, my guide as I asked him one day and told him I was confused by how a psychic could read an aura if all the thoughts and memories were stored in the brain. This is what he told me: You have to stop thinking all the time in physical sense, as there are two distinct bodies about you. First, is the physical, where all your needs and controls are done by the brain. All physical jobs are done by the physical brain. All the mental things that you do, the thinking, the decisions, anything that is not physical is done by the spirit body, or the soul. All the senses are processed by the brain and transferred to the soul for safe keeping, in the aura.

14 Now when I first got this message it really took me a while to sink in, then when you think of it, it all makes sense. How can a brain the size of ours maintain so much memory and ideas, information and everything else that is collected for the better of 80 to 90 years... There is just no room. When I went investigating this issue, from various source of spiritual teachings and great thinkers, the process of our memories and thoughts comes into focus in the pattern: 5 senses-> brain -> spirit -> aura -> great conscious - ^ This is the pattern that happens throughout our lives. This explains why a psychic can see our thoughts and memories, they are in the aura for everyone to see.

17 The psychic test Now to have some fun. This test was designed to see how open you really are to your built in psychic abilities. Please answer as honest as you can. ARE YOU PSYCHIC? 1. 21 Candle Test To do this test, simply find a candle and place it on a desk or stool. Then, for about 5 seconds, stare at the flame and record what you see. Mark any differences you see from the candle image below. Then extinguish the flame.

25 After your eyes have removed the after image, relight the candle. Now, instead of staring at the flame, stare at an object behind the candle and look at the candle using your peripheral vision. Mark down any differences from the previous exercise. You might find that you will see the candle now with onion type leaves as in this diagram This demonstration shows that auric vision exists mostly in peripheral vision, which will be discussed later. This also shows why people often see things in the corner of their eyes and react, but nothing is there. Its because you are picking up energy patterns with your auric vision, not your normal vision.

28 History of Auric vision History and Spirit contact has shown us that people have used auric vision in the past. Many of the older paintings show a halo or glow around people. There are references in the bible of people glowing or halos around their head. Even our language is filled with references to Auric colors, which would leave us to believe that when these phrases were started, people could see auras. These phrases included such things as: 1) yellow belly coward 2) seeing red(anger) 3) green with envy 4) feeling blue These references are accurate to the color of aura s. Photographing the Aura There exists a camera that is designed to take a photograph of a person s aura. This camera works on the principle of recording the magnetic waves off of a person and using the wavelengths to generate the color. It is now widely used and accepted by people as the true aura camera. It is called the Kirlian camera after its inventor. The camera is featured a lot in psychic fairs and can be bought at prices ranging from $750 to $3000. Although this cameras are in use all over the world, there has to be a bit of skepticism in this. For instance, the photographer asks the subjects to touch sensors or has sensors attached to the subject. A computer measures the electrical energy from the sensors and creates the colors on the picture. So just to begin with, you have to deal with sweat, pressure from the body, nerves, and involuntary twitches that the computer may or may not be compensating for. There have been studies about this and have proven that photographs taken one after another are so different that it cannot be the aura.

30 Another example of how the Aura is used is by Dr W J Kilner, who claimed he could detect the aura and diagnose illnesses before the patient knew it. He did this by using specially made goggles that allowed him to see the aura. What he did was coat the glasses with dicyanine, a coal tar dye, which allowed him to see the aura. What also happened was he also developed his clairvoyance and was shortly able to see the aura without the glasses. Aura goggles are available on the net, but there have been very few people who have tried them and had them actually work.

33 That Aura and its components The Aura is strongly tied into the 7 chakras so it is no surprise that there is 7 layers of an aura. The first layer of the Aura is refers to the astral body and is closely related to health and disease. We often see this as a red mark or sometimes it is grey, if the part has died or is dying. It is often seen as a blue haze or white haze and is the first layer to be seen or detected by novice auric readers. The Second Layer is linked to emotions and is the layer we see the best. It is often a swirling mass of energy which changes shape and color as we change our emotions. The colors are often bright on the top of the body and darker on the bottom. The Third Layer consists of your intellectual energies and is usually seen the best around the head and shoulders of a person. The color is usually between yellow and gold and signifies the degree of intellectual usage. It is fairly easy to see when someone is concentrating or thinking of something. The Fourth layer is the layer that links the physical and the spiritual. It symbolizes the links we have with ourselves and the spirit world, god and the spirit realm. It is not easy to see and is seen as a dark blue ring in the aura at the outer edges. The Fifth Layer is a spiritual layer where a copy of yourself is kept, and holds information about us and our journey. It is where our path is stored and information about our lives is uploaded during the night. This level is not seen. The Sixth layer is considered the layer of group conscious. It is where all thoughts and emotions are drawn to be dispelled into the astral plane. This is the first level to touch the astral plane. This level is not seen. The Seventh layer is where we touch the spirit world and access information that will help guide us. We can access the Akashic temple and our records to scan. This is normally done on a very high spiritual level and we do not know or sense when this happens. This level is not seen.

35 AURA COLOR MEANINGS Red: Red based colors are often associated the heart and circulation. They often are linked to heart felt emotions and the physical pain or trauma. For instance, a bright red often means passionate, sexual, energetic whereas a dark red may mean anger, violence or a dishonest nature Pink is often associated with red and pink usually means a loving and compassionate person, romance in the air or new love. Orange: Orange is the color of vitality and health. It often shows as excitement, or adventurous person. It means good health with lots of energy... also a creative person and outgoing. Yellow: Yellow in an aura represents the intellect and learning. It often represents a learning phase in a persons life or a thinking process that is going on. Spiritually yellow is often the sign of growing or learning phase. The person is often creative and often thinks of new ideas or ways to deal with things. Green: Green is the color most associated with healing and healthy life. Like new grass that comes in the spring, it is green with new health. Therefore, green in an aura may represent healing that is happening or that the person is a healer. Alternatively, if the green is a dark green, then we would have to say that there is a jealousy factor going on, or insecurities, or a lack of personal responsibilities. Blue: The color of blue is associated with spirituality and the abilities that come with it. It is associated with clairvoyance. People with blue often are caring and loving people who love to help others. Dark blue represents fear of oneself and untruths.

36 Purple: Purple or the shades of purple are related to intuition and spiritual communications. They represent people who tend to be psychic and are wise. They have a greater connection to the spirit world. They are also people who tend to be daydreamers and visionaries. Silver/White: Silver is the color of abundance and reflects the awakening of the mind to spirit. It is also the color of a teacher who is wise and is gifted the help people on earth. They are receptive to innovation and new ideas. Gold: Gold is the color of enlightenment and protection which comes from the divine. It is inner knowledge and spiritual mind. These are the basic colors in the aura. To correctly interpret what you are seeing, you may have to blend the meanings of multiple colors together.

40 Preparing to see Auras To see an Aura requires you to use a lot of concentration and resist temptation. You ahve to be able to unfocuss your eyes and not strain them, while concentrating on a specific target. Auras are not seen with the normal eye. It is done by the combination of eyesight and clairvoyance, where the eyesight gives you something to focus on, and the clairvoyance generates the auric image and transposes it on your eyesight. Normal eyesight can only see a certain range of vibrations. The light enters our eyes ad the vibrations of this frequency is measured and calculated in our minds. Then a mental image is formed and this is how we see. In an Auric vision, the same process is developed, however, the third eye generates another image and super imposes it on the same area of the brain that we are seeing. Therefore, we are actually looking at two pictures when we look at auras. This also explains why Aura readers are able to read people who are not in the same room. The picture of the aura is generated in the mind, via a psychic link, and can be done so because it is made from clairvoyance, not the eyes. Experiment 1: Take out the blue sheet of paper along with the white sheet. Carefully place the blue sheet so that it covers half of the white sheet. Place the paper on a surface that won t move. Make sure the lighting is not too bright. Now slowly unfocus your eyes and look at the white sheet about an inch away from where the blue sheet is. After a bit, you should be able to see an orange glow start around the blue paper. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT MOVE YOUR EYES. This is very important. The reason for this is that we generally always look straight ahead, and the mind calculates this area of eyesight more accurately than the peripheral region of our eyes. You will see Auric colors much

41 easier if you use your peripheral vision because of this. This also explains the reason people see things out of the corner of their eyes. Their clairvoyance is open at the times and when a picture is super imposed on their vision, the peripheral vision is much more noticeable than the straight vision. Now replace the blue sheet with the red sheet and redo the experiment after giving your eyes a chance to reset themselves. In this case, you should see a turquoise color.

42 Experiment # 2 Place both blue and red sheets on a white paper, leaving about two inches of white showing in the middle. Now focus on the white and see what you get. You might be surprised at how the colors flow outwards and mingle with each other. This is because auras are energy and move. The colors will attract each other and mingle in the middle. Experiment # 3 Now find something living, as in a plant or pet. Make sure the pet is asleep so that it doesn t move on you. Now sit back and relax, letting your eyes drift a bit, but keep he object in your vision. See how the auras rise from the body, bit by bit. At first, it may be grey or white, but slowly it will turn to blue and then to orange. NOTE: Whatever is behind your object may affect the color you see. Experiment # 4 Sit outside where you can see some trees and stare at the sky behind them. You will see a grey cloud or perhaps a blue one rising behind them. If you are good enough, you will see a lot of red and orange in trees and make a brilliant color display. Experiment # 5 And now we get to human auras. The first thing to do is to lean forward in your chair and place your arm on your knee, so that the hand is hanging down in front of you. Then, making sure your fingers are open and relaxed, look at the floor between your fingers. Record what you see.

43 Sometimes it helps to make an O with your thumb and index finger and stare through the O and at the floor. Notes

44 Experiment # 6 To see the human aura, will take some time and patience. To start with, you will need either a large white surface and a friend or a large mirror hanging on a wall. Method 1: Find a large white section of a wall or tack up a large piece of off white paper. Have your friend stand up against the wall and relax. They may even sit on a stool which is preferable since this might take some time. NOTE: It would be easier to see the aura if your sitter has less clothes on as the clothes do then to block the colors of the aura, since they have their own colors. Try to keep the shoulders and head clothes free. Next, sit comfortably, relax and unfocus your eyes. Look at a point about two inches above one of the shoulders. If you want, take a pad and pencil and color in what you see, At first, you will see a light glow around the shoulders, and perhaps a yellowish glow around the head. Then slowly, the colors will fill in with time. Make sure you take you time and don t get frustrated, because this will take a good deal of time to see the auras. Method two: Stand in front of a large mirror, again making sure you have as little clothes as possible. Try to keep the shoulders and head clothes free.

45 Slowly relax and start to focus on a spot above two inches above on of your shoulders. You will start to see a grey whitish bubble start to form, but after time, you will see the colors start to emerge. Practice as often as you can, even if you are sitting in a meeting or bored. A few minutes a day will open up a whole new world of colors for you. Notes

47 Things you should know Before you go off and use your new found skills, there are a few things I would like to point out. 1) Sensitivity to light: As you progress, you might find yourself more sensitive to light. This is normal because you are refocussing your eyes and forcing your brain to not be so lazy. Color definitions will also seem brighter and more vibrant to you 2) Auras appear everywhere: You will now start to see auras around everything, and this might start to bug you. Especially if you are in the sun. There will be glows around lights, anything the sun shines off of, headlights will look larger, and you will notice your aura on your hands a lot more. 3) Ethics of Auric reading of people As you get better at reading auras, you will notice certain things, like boxes in the auras or even a little movie. Please do not read these people, or try a reading without their permission. It is one thing to stare at someone just to find their colors, but another thing to start a psychic read. You must always gain permission before reading someone, as the aura may contain informationt hey don t want people to know. 4) Always be carefull I always say this because you never know when you will be caught staring at someone and this has happened a lot. If you are going to look at someone s aura, be aware of the backlash that could happen. Sites to visit:
