A priest who played an important part in your faith life? Why not make contact via letter, card, or email just to let one or more of them know that you are still grateful? There are baskets with notecards and envelopes at the exits. Take one to write a note or include this Spiritual Bouquet (below) to send to a priest. Cut here & add to your card or put in collection next weekend: Dear Father: We have prepared a Spiritual Bouquet for you in gratitude: Masses Holy Hours Rosaries Other In a special way remember our priests who have served St. Ann Catholic Parish and School. For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mk 10:45 If you held a mirror up to your life, would it reflect God s love and mercy? If you are struggling with this, try changing your attitude from I want more to thank you God for everything you have given me, I have enough to share. This change in perspective will bring you joy through service to others. Special thanks to Mac Taylor and Mary Leeper for sharing their ministries with us at Mass last weekend. If you haven t returned your time and talent card please return it next weekend or complete it online https://stannpv.org/ ministries. Page 3 St. Ann Catholic Church
Respect Life Month Did you know October is not only Respect Life Month, but it s also the kickoff month for a whole year of Respect Life Activities! October brings a concentration of information and activities to our attention to get us fired up to get out there and do something! The best place to start is in your heart! Cut out this prayer or use one you may already have... or go online (USCCB website) to find some good ones that cover all stages of LIFE! And pray it every day. Workers or Pro-Life Activists O God, abide with pro-life workers that they may do your holy will and sustain them lest they grow weary. Make them so strong, dear Lord, that others watching will cry: They that hope in the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar as with eagles wings; They will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint (Is 40:31). Then, God, grant wisdom to all of us who Must guide children along the way that leads heavenward and homeward to you. Happy the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding! (Prov 3:13) Bless particularly, Lord, our teenagers who are forming their consciences concerning abortion. I will instruct you and show you the way you should walk (Ps 32:8). Purchase your raffle ticket: 1 ticket for $5, 5 for $20, 15 for $50 or 35 for $100! The winning ticket will be drawn at the Bev Vyhanek Fall Luncheon and Card Party on November 8 th.
