You can contact me at jframeiii@yahoo.com with any questions, Jamie Frame, Director of Music/Organist For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. MATTHEW 5:20 The scribes and Pharisees lived according to the letter of the law and they used this to elevate themselves above the other people. Jesus is clear it s the love that you have in your heart that will get you to heaven. Simply following church rules out of obligation, not love, does not put you on the path to heaven. Attending Mass on Sunday and then gossiping about a fellow parishioner on the parking lot is an example of a modern day Pharisee. PRO LIFE Next Pro-life meeting is Tuesday, February 28 at 7pm in the lower church meeting room. Maternity donations can be dropped in the crib in the foyer of the church. Both new (especially diapers size 3 to 6) and gently used items are accepted. Please continue to remember the children and families who are helped with your donations. If you have larger items, please call Carolyn at 732-381-0499 to arrange for pickup. Thank you for your continued generosity. HAVE A HEART FOR THE UNBORN. February is the month of our Pro-Life HEART campaign. Your donation will be acknowledged on our Bulletin Board of Hearts and will go directly to a local pregnancy center, whose purpose is to save the unborn, care for the mom and support the family with love, prayer and material needs. Your donation can be dropped in the collection basket & marked "SJV Pro Life". Flyers are on the table in the church foyer. Thank you for your care and concern for the Unborn.
