Drug education and prayer service evenings with Bishop Malesic continue in August The Summer Diocesan Drug Education and Prayer Service Evenings, which Bishop Edward C. Malesic announced in A Pastoral Letter on the Drug Abuse Crisis: From Death and Despair to Life and Hope, continues: Wed., Aug. 2, St. Joseph Parish, Uniontown; Thurs., Aug. 3, Our Lady of Grace Parish, Greensburg; Tues., Aug. 8, St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Kittanning; Thurs., Aug. 10, Mary Queen of Apostles School, Greenwald Site, New Kensington; and Wed., Aug. 16, St. Thomas More University Parish, Indiana. The sessions all begin at 7 PM and are open to the public. There will be an educational presentation about the opioid epidemic in the region, a question-and-answer session and a prayer service led by Bishop Malesic. The next Natural Family Planning CM-BBT Method INSTRUCTION is scheduled for MONDAY August 14, 2017 beginning at 6pm at the Catholic Charities office in Greensburg. Participants are required to attend only ONE session. The instruction, continued support and follow-up are provided by a medically certified CM-BBT Professional.
