CROSS ROADS Choosing Your Path to Involvement in Mission Hills Short-Term Mission Trips 2014

CrossRoads Choosing Your Path to Involvement in Mission Hills Short-Term Trips and Internship Discipleship for Outreach If you are interested in growing spiritually with the mindset of being outreach focused, please join us in Discipleship for Outreach. Sessions from our Pastors and leaders about how you can hear about who you are in Christ, how to hear from God, and how to work best in teams. This is open to all, but is required for all those going on short-term trips or internships. Pre-Trip: Training Sessions for the Discipleship for Outreach program will be held for each team in spring of 2014 on Monday evenings. Watch for details. On the Field: There will be a leader on each trip that will encourage each participant to recognize how God is at work in the service they are doing, within the team and personally. Post-Trip: There will be two post-trip meetings for the short-term teams. The purpose will be to help reintegrate into the American culture in a healthy and Godly way. Additionally, God uses these experiences to transform us. We hope to come alongside each participant to empower them to follow through on the passion and excitement the Holy Spirit has given us. For more information, please contact Travis Akins attakins@missionhills.org. Page 1
