Some views are based off of a day can only mean day time as in day light, and that it has NO other definition. However Day has more than just that one meaning. A Prophetic day can start at night. Like when you hear in that Day. Atonement shows a day changing over at evening. Day can mean a specific time period. b r Ro = ereb: Evening, night, sunset, to become evening, grow dark.
Let us move to chapter 2 in Barashiyth (Genesis) 2:18. Gen. 2:18 And Yahuah Alahiym said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Gen. 2:22 And the rib {Also translated as bridal chamber in scripture.}, which Yahuah Alahiym had taken from [This is the pattern for marriage. Matt. 19:6] Gen. 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Gen. 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Two parallels should stand out to you. {I made it a little easier for those who do not know Hebrew or is new to Hebrew. Normally Hebrew is read right to left. The pattern would produce another man and or woman [not man an wo- man or woman and woman] this pattern would produce children that would make the same combination so that the pattern could repeat itself. Be fruitful and multiply was give to them. Being of the same sex is impossible to follow this command. Chuah {Chawah} was a lost part or missing part of Adam. How do we know this? If another man is hitting {i.e. trying to get to know her}, on her or throwing some salt in the relationship. He sees this as her being taking or possibly taking away from him. Maybe he feels that person could be trying to take her for himself. Wanting her to be his rib. What parents are suppose to be is pattern for their child. When they get married, they would want the same unity saw in there parents. This is to be the ideal role. Because some of us were not raised in t [h] urah, or allowed t [h] urah to be our guide in our life, {knowing or unknowing} it effected our behavior. It effected out relationships. Acquisition: something or someone acquired or gained. There is a misunderstanding about acquiring, gaining or owning things. These types of acquisition form an understanding of CONTROL. Scripture views this in a different light. T [h] urah is a type of acquisition. You acquire it, you gain it, meaning it becomes apart of you. But do you own it? Do you control it? NO it actually controls you. The t [h] urah tells you what type of lifestyle you are to live. This is what we acquire.
T [h] urah is what completes you. This is what both man and woman, is suppose to have in their life. When a man finds a woman, he does not control her. She becomes apart of you. She becomes what she is designed for. Help, support, relief, completes him, just to name a few. When you try to acquire things to complete you, it fails. Such as money, cars, jewelry, houses, material things. Why? Because it was never intended to be apart of you from the very beginning. It was not made to be one with you. However when you have the right woman, and the woman has the right man, they feel a form of completion. When both are in t [h] urah which also completes you, the only desire left is Yahuah and our bridegroom Yahusha. Prov. 18:22 Whoso finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahuah. Sometimes we use scripture as an acquisition for our needs, or for what we will not do, even if it is in scripture. Is. 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. Is. 42:2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. Is. 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. Is. 42:4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. Is. 42:5 Thus says אל (Al/El/Mighty one) Yahuah, he that created the heavens, and stretched them [נ שׁ מ ה] [ר ק ע] out ; he that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit {why is spirit not capitalized? This is not THEE Spirit} to them that walk therein: 1Cor. 2:11 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of Alahiym knows no man, but the Spirit of Alahiym. Job 33:4 The Spirit of אל (Al/El/Mighty one) has made me, and the breath of the Almighty has given me life. Job 33:5 If you can answer me, set your words in order before me, stand up. Job 33:6 Behold, I am according to your wish in אל (Al/El/Mighty one s) stead: I also am formed out of the clay. Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding. Psa. 150:6 Let every thing that has breath praise Yahuah. Praise you Yahuah. Psa. 150:6 כּ ל ה נּ שׁ מ ה תּ ה לּ ל י הּ ה ל לוּ י הּ Is. 42:6 I Yahuah have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep Gentiles; { preserve/protect/observe /נ צ ר} you, and give you for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Matt. 2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene. Acts 24:5 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Yahudiym throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes: Is. 11:1 And there shall come [future tense - [ו י צ א forth a rod out of the stem of Yashiy, and a
Branch {נ צ ר} shall grow out of his roots: [This type of branch is used to preserve]. Is. 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Ya aqub (Ya aqob/jacob), and to restore the preserved {וּנ צ יר י} of Yashra al (Yisrael/Israel) : I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be my salvation unto the end of the earth. This is a title if you will of the Creator, The Mashiyach, and of us. We are the ones that are commanded to obey, to preserve, His word. Is. 42:7 To open { ח {פ ק the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. ח נ ה { Gen. 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened פּ ק {ו תּ, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Set-apart Spirit; What did the Creator give them instead of fig leaves? Skin What did you learn from this? It teaches us that Yahuah is the only one that can provide a covering That will truly cover our shame and guilt, from our sins. Part 2 is the animal that was killed did not do anything wrong, sin cannot cover sin. There is a dual understanding in context for this word. One is Yahuah will open their eyes to see and to understand, whereas in Barashiyth (Genesis.) their eyes were said to be open, but not according to the Creator. Their eyes were opened to now experience things that were not intended for you. But what you will experience will not be according to my will. Now we experience things that are good [functional] but not necessarily righteous. He did not want you to eat from the tree even if it had, good on it. In this Haftarah portion we can get some examples of what He was sharing. Before we take a look at this in the haftarah. Let us look at the Hebrew word for tree. Gen. 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which Yahuah Alahiym had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, has Alahiym said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Gen. 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: Gen. 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Alahiym has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. Gen. 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, You shall not surely die: Gen. 3:5 For Alahiym does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as alahiym, knowing good and evil. Gen. 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree { ע ץ } was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. ʿatsah, aw-tsaw ; a primitive root; properly, to fasten (or make firm), i.e. to close ע צ ה (the eyes): shut. body): backbone. ʿatseh, aw-tseh ; from 6095; the spine (as giving firmness to the ע צ ה timber: trees. ʿetsah, ay-tsaw ; feminine of 6086; ע צ ה
prudence: advice, ʿetsah, ay-tsaw ; from 3289; advice; by implication, plan; also ע צ ה advisement, counsel(l-(or)), purpose. o Psa. 1:1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel { בּ ע צ ת/עצה } of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. o Psa. 1:2 But his delight is in the law of Yahuah; and in his law does he meditate day and night. Now to the haftarah Is. 42:18 Hear, you deaf; and look, you blind, that you may see. Is. 42:19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as Yahuah s servant? Is. 42:20 Seeing many things, but you observe not; opening the ears, but he hear not. Is. 42:21 Yahuah is well pleased for his righteousness sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honorable. o I want to clarify here that this prophecy is speaking of His people. Not the other nations. Matt. 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. Matt. 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Yashayahu, which says, By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: Matt. 13:15 For this people s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Matt. 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. Being blind in scripture means you are operating in darkness. Notice seeing things they observe not, and hearing open ears they hear not. What is it that He wants them to observe, and hear? The answer was in Is.42:21. This would cause them to come out of darkness. So they can see and observe. Prov. 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: Is. 42:22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivers; for a spoil, and none says, Restore. Ezek. 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Yashra al (Yisrael/Israel), every one according to his ways, says adaniy Yahuah. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Ezek. 18:31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby you have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, O house of Yashra al (Yisrael/Israel)? Ezek. 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, says adaniy Yahuah: wherefore turn yourselves, and live you. Matt. 4:17 From that time Yahusha began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Acts 2:38 Then Kepha (Peter) said unto them, Repent, and be immersed every one of you in
the name of Yahusha Mashiyach for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the set-apart Spirit. Acts 3:19 Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of Yahuah; Ex. 32:32 Yet now, if you will forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray you, out of your book which you have written. Ex. 32:33 And Yahuah said unto Mushah (Mosheh/Moses), Whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. Is. 42:23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? Is. 42:24 Who gave Ya aqub (Ya aqob/jacob) for a spoil, and Yashra al (Yisrael/Israel) to the robbers? did not Yahuah, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. 1John 3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 2Cor. 6:14 Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? Is. 51:7 Hearken unto me, you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear you not the reproach of men, neither be you afraid of their reviling. Deut. 6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahuah our Alahiym, as he has commanded us. Is. 42:8 I am Yahuah: that is my name: and my esteem will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Is. 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Is. 42:10 Sing unto Yahuah a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
