A motion was made by Brother Paul Washington and seconded by Brother Jerry Tarantino to accept the Financial Report. SEMINARIAN REPORT: Brother Steve Hart reports that the Acompano Raffle brought in $10,000.00 for each of the two seminaries in the area. Notre Dame Seminary and Saint Benedict Seminary. Brother John Boudreaux, who most likely will be elected new State Deputy, wants to change the format for the next year where there will no longer be an Acompano raffle. One idea being tossed around is that Councils will be asked to fund the seminarians similar to the Y.E.P. program. Another idea is to ask Bishops in the Dioceses around the state to have a second collection one weekend of the year where that collection will be strictly for the seminarians. We still want to support our Seminarians through efforts such as R.S.V.P. 4 th DEGREE REPORT: Brother Leroy Dufrene gave his report on the 4 th Degree Convention this past weekend. Brother Steve Thomas was recommended to be the next Master for the Louisiana District. His name will be sent to Supreme for approval and confirmation. We need more 4 th Degree members to come out and dress out for events. Brother Leroy said that Lynch & Kelly has a complete regalia outfit for around $410.00.
