Young Adult Group Greetings and Blessings Young Adults!! We are always seeking volunteers for the Living Stations of the Cross communal prayer experience! Come get reacquainted with your faith in a fun and meaningful environment. Meet us at St. Cecelia Church on Sunday February 8th at 6:45pm for more information and ask for John Cook. See you there!! Help Our Teens! The youth Ministry program of St. Cecelia and St. John Vianney is proud to offer our students a variety of life altering and faith inspiring experiences. From weekly meetings to weekend retreats to the Appalachia service project to Living Stations of the Cross, to diocesan level awards and activities and even National conferences. It's our mission to enable our students to live as Catholics out in their everyday lives. For this mission to be fully accomplished, our students need to witness and participate in that life, then receive full daily support from our office. Life altering and faith inspiring experiences allow our students to develop the courage to live as Catholics in today s society. Today I am once again seeking your support. This November is the National Catholic Youth Conference, (NCYC). Twenty three thousand catholic students from all fifty states will be attending. We will also be attending because NCYC with the best speakers, workshops, and lived faith experiences is truly life changing. This year we have a number of students interested but not all of them can afford the $600.00 cost of the four day conference. I am simply asking for donations. All donations will be split among the participants to lower the cost and allow them to participate. Checks can be made out to SJV Youth Ministry and mailed to John Cook at 420 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ. 07067. Thank you for all of the support you have offered this office in the last 18 years, and for your consideration. It is life changing. God Bless You. PRO LIFE Our next meeting will be February 24 th. Maternity donations can be dropped in the crib in the foyer of the church. Both new and gently used items are accepted. Please continue to remember the children and families who are helped with your donations. If you have larger items, please call Carolyn at 732-381-0499 to arrange for pickup. Thank you for your continued generosity. The Ultra Breakfast is coming March 1. If you have large, empty baskets, we can use them. Any new, unused gift items are also appreciated for our "tricky tray" raffle. Didn't quite like that Christmas present? Consider "re-gifting" to us. Questions? Call Carolyn @973-349-4626.
