Worship Service But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 Prelude Welcome and Announcements Chattanooga Mission Team Report Silent Prayer of Preparation Call to Worship Psalm 117 *Hymn of Adoration From All That Dwell Below the Skies #3 (2nd tune) *Invocation Confession of Sin Lord, by your grace, and for your glory, you have redeemed us and given us new life in Christ. We are new creations, with your Spirit indwelling us, and we are becoming more and more like our Savior, as we behold Him in your holy Word. But we are sadly aware that in many ways, we are still not like Him. We confess our lack of compassion for our brethren, and for the lost, our self-centeredness and our worldliness. We know that we do not always reflect love, joy, peace, patience, kindness or goodness, and we are not always faithful, gentle or self-controlled. In the name of your blessed son, our Lord Jesus Christ, we ask you to forgive us for the sins we have committed since we last approached your glorious presence, and help us to both experience and evidence the fruit of your Holy Spirit in our lives. Amen. Assurance of Pardon 1 John 4:9 *Songs of Praise
