Almighty God, Sustainer of Life, you give us the words of eternal life but you leave your household free to choose whom we will serve the gods of the world or you, the living God. You nourish us with Christ s flesh and blood to whom else would we go? May we always choose life for ourselves and bring life-giving love to others. Amen. August 23, 2015

Do you plan to volunteer with kids? Please Read... The archdiocese requires all adults who work and/or volunteer around children to complete VIRTUS training. In order to keep our children as safe as we can, the program requires adults to complete a training session and submit to a background check. So, whether you are coaching, teaching, or volunteering, you MUST be VIRTUS-certified BEFORE you participate. If you have attended a training session, you can check your status online at virtus.org. If you have NOT been trained yet, please check our website or go to virtus.org and click on registration to find a training session that fits your schedule. You can attend a VIRTUS session anywhere in the archdiocese. Several parishes have sessions scheduled for the beginning of August. St. Ann is hosting a VIRTUS training session September 9 th, from 6-9 pm. Please visit virtus.org to register. Email Stephanie Meeker at smeeker@stannpv.org if you have any questions.
