It is truly wonderful to have such great friends and to know everyone is praying for me. This was so unexpected but I am truly grateful. Thanks again Love, Sally Mitchell A thank you from CPC for the Benefit Christmas Concert: Dear Pastor Barry: Thank you hardly seems adequate in light of what was done for the CPC last weekend. On behalf of the Board of Directors, the staff and our precious clients, we are truly grateful for all the hard work that clearly went into the events. And especially grateful that Liberty chose us. Please convey our thanks and our accolades to all the musicians, singers, and production crew. Everyone did a superb job. May God bless each and every one of you. Gratefully, Carol A. Standing for Reelection as Elder: Glenn Cote Standing for Reelection as Deacon: Chris Byrd John Kitchen Will Somers Standing for Election as Deacon: Mark Fuhrer Below is a short bio written by Mark: My family came from Warren, Pa. Mom was a Baptist and Dad attended the Evangelical United Brethern Church. We moved to Pittsburgh and joined Mount Hope United Presbyterian Church, where Mom taught Sunday school and Dad was a trustee and a choir member. I joined that church on my 13th birthday. We moved a few times, to Cherry Hill, NJ, Vienna, VA, and then back to Pittsburgh, always attending a UPC church. Then we left during the "great divide" and joined a church with a more "PCA" statement of faith. By this time I was in college, having some lively discussions with my Methodist Religion profs! After I entered the real world, I did not join any particular church for years. However, God, in His providence, guided me from Catonsville to Reisterstown, and the Fuhrers moved into a house two doors away from Oliver and Fiona Deardon! Jackie and I finally found Liberty and became happy members. We both feel called by God to serve and glorify Him. We are involved in several programs and being considered for Deaconship is a blessing, for which I am grateful.
