It is a great way for them to grow in understanding their Catholic faith, to spend time in prayer, and have fun too! For more information and to register, visit www.stannpv.org/totustuus Questions? As it was true for Paul 2000 years ago, it is true for the Church today. Nowhere is this more relevant than in the current cultural debate about marriage and human sexuality. While there is much misunderstanding and misinformation over what we believe as Catholics, an important point is that we do not have the power to change what we did not create. Marriage certainly has a human component, but it has a divine design. Like most things, if we do not understand an aspect of Catholic teaching, it is good to sincerely seek the authentic teaching rather than the stereotype that popular culture perpetuates. The intimate community of life and love which constitute the married state has been established by the Creator and endowed by him with its own proper laws God himself is the author of marriage Marriage is not a purely human institution. (CCC1603) We felt like we did when we were first married! See why over 700 couples in the Archdiocese have experienced the Living in Love retreat. Sign up now for the next Living in Love retreat held at Mater Dei Parish, Topeka, KS, June 11-12, 2016.
