K of C Schola Cantorum We want you!! We are in need of new members. The only requirements are an appreciation of traditional Sacred Music as well as more contemporary and patriotic music, the ability to carry a tune, and the enjoyment of fellowship with other Schola members. We meet on Tuesday evenings, beginning 3-4 weeks prior to a scheduled event, at Pellegrino s Event Center on Littlerock Rd. at 7pm. Light refreshments are usually provided. We sing for such events as Memorial Day Mass at St. Michael Church, followed by ceremonies at Calvary Cemetery, our annual Memorial Day Mass for deceased members at the Hall, our annual Christmas recital for the Council and 4 th Degree Christmas party, and any other special events that we are invited to sing at. We have become especially well known, in past recent years, for our singing of the National Anthem at Cheney Stadium, prior to one of the Rainier s games. If you are interested, please call Sam Pellegrino at (360) 259-7337. Faithful Navagator s Message Worthy Sir Knights of Assembly 1183 Sir Knights, thanks to everyone who came out and supported our Veterans dinner last month. It was a huge success. Any one who is available please come out and support the Knight before Christmas on the 16th. Please go out and support Sam Pellegrino s Keep Christ in Christmas Nativity at his restaurant. I pray that all of you a safe and wonderful Christmas this year. Merry Christmas, Korey Wessel Faithful Navigator St. Francis of Assisi, Assembly 1183 keydet11@gmail.com 540-319-3366 Page 3 of 10

Top right: Karl Hoffman, Walther Hoffman, Daniel Cofield, Stephen Wood-Morris, Mike Colosi, Tom Cofield, Korey Wesselman, Sam Pellegrino. Not shown: Anthony Pellegrino who was directing operations. A F T E R Once again this year, Brother Knight Sam Pellegrino along with a group of volunteer Knights, have built the Keep Christ in Christmas display on the patio of Pellegrino s Italian Kitchen, 205 Cleveland Ave. in Tumwater. This display is a labor of love, but unfortunately love cannot defray the cost to keep it going. The ongoing maintenance, not to mention the cost of the electricity, can be very expensive. Your financial help with this project would be greatly appreciated. Tax deductible contributions can be made to the Knights of Columbus and mailed to GK Mike Colosi at PO Box 3511, Lacey, 98509. Checks should be labeled Keep Christ in Christmas Project. Thank you in advance for your generous support. Please be sure to stop by during this holiday season to view this impressive display and take photos with your family! The lights will be on beginning Friday, December 1 st through Sunday, January 7 th. Page 4 of 10
