ST. BERNARD OF CLAIRVAUX ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. 2 The disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. After he placed his hands on them, He went away. Brian Bell, Pastor FAITH DIRECT With the arrival of autumn, I d like to invite you to join Faith Direct, our parish s electroinic egiving Program. Our to-do lists can get lengthy this back-to-school season, but Faith Direct s egiving program will give you one less thing to remember each week no more envelopes to find and checks to write before you go to Mass. Visit www.faithdirect.net and use our church code: AZ734 Thank you for your continued support of our parish family! God Bless You. Father Brian FRIDAY MORNING MASS TIME CHANGE Friday morning Mass time will be at 8:00 A..M. NEW ADORATION CHAPEL HOURS Monday thru Thursday 7am to 9 :00pm Friday 7am to 12:00pm Saturday 1pm to 6:00pm Sunday 7am to 12:30pm The reasons for the changes are: the individual that was sleeping in the chapel has returned; the person was offered assistance from the parish and help was refused; the police were informed and the individual also refused their offer to help; several parishioners in the chapel were approached by this person requesting money from them. We are concerned for the safety of all our parishioners and those who come to adoration. Thank you for your understanding. AN INVITATION TO BECOME A CATHOLIC Do you know someone who has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic? Have you been or do you know someone who is coming to Sunday Mass with their family and never become part of the Church? Do you know someone who was baptized Catholic and not received instruction in their Catholic faith? How about someone who has never been baptized? If you do, now is the time for you to invite them to become part of your Catholic faith community at St. Bernard s.
