Thank you and may God bless you for your consideration. Sunday, Oct. 16 ~ 2-4:30 p.m. Check-in at 1:30 p.m. Registration deadline: End of business Oct. 4. St. Justin Martyr Parish 35781 Stevens Bv., Eastlake, 44095 Friday, Oct. 21 ~ 7-9:30 p.m. Check-in at 6:30 p.m. Registration deadline: End of business Oct. 14 St. Therese Parish 5276 E. 105th St., Garfield Heights, 441 To The People of St. Clare: A few weeks ago I had the great joy of praying with you at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to offer thanks to God Almighty for the gift of my religious concentration. On August 6th, I professed my final vows as a Sister of Life. Through the vows of poverty, chastity, obedience and a 4th vow to protect and enhance the sacredness of human life, I was wed to Jesus, the Etern al Bridegroom forever. As my family and so many parishioners gathered to pray together at St. Clare on August 13th, I was overcome with gratitude to the Lord for planting and nourishing my vocation here in this parish family. I am grateful to all who offered their time to educate me in the faith through Sunday School, PSR, Youth Group, VOCE, CYO, etc. I am grateful for the community of the people at St. Clare who I encountered both in the church and in the Lyndhurst, Mayfield community. The truth is, in our cities, one is bound to run into a fellow parishioner in the grocery store, at the pool, at the bank, wherever you go! This makes for a priceless gift of being raised in a culture of faith which is so formative for young hearts seeking the Lord in a world that is walking away from God. I am thankful for your fidelity to faith and to your vocation. I am deeply grateful for the members of the Marian Movement of Priests Cenacle at St. Clare. Like the Apostles in the Upper Room, these faithful men and women gather around Our Blessed Mother every week, invoking her intercession for the priests, religious and people of St. Clare. The parish of St. Clare is the beneficiary of your unceasing prayers and I am sure that it is only in heaven we will really know how indebted we all are to you. I am particularly grateful to the Priests of St. Clare through the years: Fr. Bill O Neill and Fr. Klasinski-my pastors and all the priests who have administered the Sacraments: They brought the healing love of Jesus to me in the sacrament of Confession, and Jesus Himself to me every day on the Altar of the Lord at Holy Mass. Our faith, like that of St. Clare herself, is founded on Jesus and sustained by encountering Him in the Eucharist-without our priests we would be lost! Thank you, Fathers. Again, I thank you all for your witness of faith, I pray for you all, that each one of you may encounter deeply the love of Jesus for you, that you may know you were wonderfully made in the Heart of the Father, and that you may always respond to the loving guidance of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord raise up many, many Holy vocations from the Church of St. Clare. In Christ, Our Life, Sr. Brigid Ancilla Marie, SV (Bridget Heisler) NATION PRAYER RALLY St. Paschal Baylon Parish will be sponsoring Nation Prayer Rally on Sunday, October 2 in front of the church at 5384 Wilson Mills Rd. from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, October 2, calls our nation from coast to coast to essentially witness a devout prayer vigil that God can use to change minds and hearts over abortion. Please invite your families to attend and stand for LIFE! Welcome Back Young Hearts 50+ Join us Oct. 19, 1 p.m. in the Harvest Room for a potluck Salad Bar Lunch. Greens & dressings provided; Apple cake dessert. We look forward to seeing everyone and perhaps some new friends! Questions? Terri 440-442-4103 or Pat 440-605-1674.
