Pope Francis Dear Parishioners, THE GOOD NEWS: Jesus came to heal and bring the fullness of life. THE BAD NEWS: Sin wounds and brings death. My little sins wound my relationship with God, with my spouse, with my children, with myself, and with my parish and society. Little sins, can add up over time leading to many little wounds. We become the walking wounded, crippled in our ability to love as God calls us to. Little unrepentant sins can pile up and dispose us to serious mortal sins which cut off our relationship with God. THE GOOD NEWS: Jesus gave us a gift: the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Here He forgives us, binds up our wounds and empowers us to love more fully. THE GOOD NEWS: The sacrament is readily available. I encourage all parishioners to encounter Christ s healing in this sacrament. Church of the Ascension Norwood Young America, MN Rosary at the Harbor during Lent Each Monday during Lent, parishioners are invited to come to the 2 nd floor at the Harbor to pray the Rosary with the residents at 10:15 a.m. This will run through April 10 th. Guest Speaker Mary Kellett from Prenatal Partners for Life Wed, April 5 th at St Bernard Church, 6:40 p.m.-7:45 p.m. Mary Kellett from Prenatal Partners for Life will share her inspiring pro-life message with our young people, their parents, and any parishioners from Ascension or St Bernard's that want to come and hear her story. Mary is scheduled to be with us from 6:40-7:45 pm. Mary was featured at the Respect Life event hosted at Ascension two years ago, and her sharing was touching. This special event is being sponsored by the Respect Life group at Ascension. The Cologne Fire Relief are our meal sponsors that night, and they will be grilling.
