How Do You Stay Alert? In today s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that we do not know when the Lord of the house is coming, so we must watch for the arrival. In Advent, we are reminded to watch and prepare. Do you know someone outside our Catholic faith who is curious about what we are preparing for? Someone interested in the true meaning of Advent and Christmas? Our Parish RCIA team can help. All who are unbaptized, baptized into another faith denomination, or baptized Catholic but have not received Eucharist or Confirmation are invited to call the Parish Office at 908-647-1075 and they will put you in touch with a member of the RCIA team. You can also visit the OLM website (ourladyofthemount.org) and view our video on the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. In our Parish, please keep Jacob Schenk in your prayers as he continues his RCIA journey. Ministries of the Week - December 10 5:00 PM 8:00 AM 10:00 AM 11:30 AM Msgr. Capik Fr. Sean Fr. Demetrius Fr. Paul and Eileen Rust eiandpaul@aol.com The OLM Knights of Columbus sponsored a seminar on Successful Aging on November 20th. The seminar was led by Patricia Deotte who talked about Successful Aging, Geriatric Care and Physical Therapy. Patricia is a practicing Physical Therapist for 30+ years with her Doctorate in PT. She is certified as a Geriatric Specialist and is also on the faculty of Rutgers University. The seminar was well attended, and Patricia provided many insights on the value of physical activity as a means for maintaining and increasing our quality of life as we age. We thank Pat for taking the time out of her busy schedule to share this vital information with the parish.
