P A G E 3 If you have faith,...it will happen. Matthew 21: 21 God always rejoices when we dare to dream. In fact, we are much like God when we dream. He wrote the book on making the impossible possible. Eighty-year-old shepherds don t usually play chicken with Pharoahs...but don t tell that to Moses. Teenage shepherds don t normally have showdowns with giants...but don t tell that to David. And for sure don t tell that to God. From Everyday Blessings by Max Lucado Time for pictures! Okay boys and girls! It s picture time! Throughout the month of May, we will have a camera set up in the Prayer Room to take your family pictures for the directory. We will do this after service every Sunday for about 15-20 minutes. I will also have your current directory pic/info available because I do believe there are some new addresses/phone # s/emails that should be shared with everyone. Please plan on coming and getting your picture in our new directory! Are you ready for your close up?
P A G E 4 Into the waters A wonderful thing is happening this coming Sunday. We will be baptizing three beautiful people into the body of Christ. Questions will be asked and answered, declarations of faith will be made and then it will happen they will let go of the singleness of who they were, go into the waters and be made new. As they come out, they are no longer just themselves, but made new. They are now in Christ and they have chosen, declared and accepted that Christ is in them. They will be walking directly in the footsteps of Christ Himself who walked freely into the water and asked John the Baptist to baptize Him. He let go of Jesus of Nazareth and was born anew Christ. And the heavens opened and God rejoiced This is my Son in whom I am well pleased Come and rejoice with us as Bradley, Jessenia and Mason take this amazing step into a journey of life lived most fully. Thanks be to God! Service of Baptism is set for 10:00 am in Fellowship Hall T H E L I N K

P A G E 7 Fred Hall s Bible Study Class On Apr 27 we concluded a study of most of Exodus. Our next study will be in ACTS. In Exodus all of humanity was divided into two groups...jews and non-jews, or Gen les. A third community was to be created: the CHURCH, made up of Jews and Gen les. A study of ACTS will give us the birth and growth of this church. You may wish to be a part of such a study but the me or place is inconvenient (3 pm on Tuesdays at DCC), let us know. Otherwise we will meet next Tuesday at 3 pm in Pat Brown s classroom off Fellowship Hall.
