A Prayer for Easter Almighty God, who through your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, overcame death and opened to us the gate of everlasting life. Grant that we, who celebrate with joy the day of the Lord's Resurrection, may be raised from the death of sin by your life-giving Spirit, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. AMEN The Asbury family congratulates Bishop Forrest C. Stith on the occasion of his recent induction into the Sharp Street Memorial UMC's Pastor's Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place on Saturday, April 13 in Baltimore as part of the 120th Anniversary Celebration of the church. Bishop Latrelle Miller Easterling was the keynote speaker. Bishop Stith served as pastor of that church, and in several other positions before being elected to the Episcopacy in 1984. 7
