What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven! Genesis 28:17
You re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He s using us all irrespective of how we got here in what he is building. God is building a home a place where all of us can find our place, but this home isn t just for us. He s using us to build something that will speak of His love and shout of His grace to people all around us. Ephesians 2:19-20 As we enter this Heart for the House season, we are specifically praying two things. First, that each of us will gain a greater vision for what God wants to do through His Church. You ve heard us say before that the Church is the only organization on the planet that helps people with what matters most in life: their relationship with God and their relationships with others. We believe with all our hearts that God wants to bring restoration and healing through His Church. The second prayer we re praying is that God will give each of us a Heart for His House a deeper love and commitment to our church family and what He s calling us to do together. The truth is we can t do what we re called to do, and we can t be who we re called to be without you. You are an integral part of what God is building. We re challenging you to ask God these two questions over the next few weeks: What s my responsibility for Your House? How do You want to use me and my gifts to build Your House and make it ready to reach more people? Here s what we know: eternity will be forever changed by our commitment to pray and sacrifice to build a home where more people can come and find the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. POP To reach people we ve never reached before we have to do things we ve never done before. up In 2018 we cast vision for Christ Fellowship PopUp. We asked ourselves, how can we engage people who have never thought about coming to church? We could take it to them! We re the messengers bringing the greatest message to those who don t even know they need it. Fall 2018 we hosted multiple community events and this past January we launched our first two Christ Fellowship PopUp locations in Vero Beach and Boca Raton. God has been moving in every service, and we ve seen over 2,300 people attend a PopUp service, with over 80 salvations just in the first few months. At every location people are taking their next step and getting involved in community. 80Salvations 4
For years Tim and Debbie have been praying for their daughter in Boca Raton to find a church. They attended the first PopUp service together as a family and now she s been back to every single one along with her kids. They ve found home. 2,300 people attended a PopUp service. 5
BELLE GLADE location November 2018 we launched Christ Fellowship Belle Glade in the heart of the city. After 25 years of serving in the community of Belle Glade, we held our first worship service with over 320 people in attendance. We re sharing the love and hope of Jesus in Spanish, English, and Creole. Since our launch, 53 people have chosen Christ as their Savior! Maria and Gus Guerra, who live in Pahokee, have been attending Christ Fellowship for 10 years and have been praying for us to launch a campus in Belle Glade. They have tried to invite their friends and family to church but the drive was too far for them. When asked why they prayed for a campus in Belle Glade, Maria said she wanted a place where she and her whole family could worship together. They wanted to serve their city and bring the love and message of Jesus Christ to their area. Since our Belle Glade campus launched, Maria and Gus s daughter and son have been attending church every week. Their oldest daughter joined a Group and their son Gus Jr., has been involved on the Dream Team and was baptized in February. Maria and Gus said they are currently living in the middle of answered prayers from years ago and love that there is a place close to home where they can worship and serve. 6
GROWTH port st. lucie 4,000+ average weekly attendance Since our Port St. Lucie location opened in 2016, God has done exceedingly more than we could have asked or imagined. Opening our new auditorium last April made a place for thousands of more people in the Treasure Coast to call home. Each weekend kids, students, and adults of every age encounter the hope and love of Jesus because together we gave the resources to expand God s House. 7
ORLANDO With millions of people in our region who don t know Jesus, we must continue to go and grow. So we re all about creating places for people who are waiting to find the life-giving relationship that only comes from Jesus. God has given us bold vision for 2019. If no eye has seen it and no ear has heard it yet, we re going to need to do some things we haven t done before. We need to reach beyond our current places and spaces to provide a home for people to belong and find the love and hope of Jesus. PALM BAY VERO BEACH FORT PIERCE PORT ST. God has a vision for each of our lives too: a full, overflowing life in Christ. As we grow in our relationship with Him, He uses all of us to help carry His love and hope to those around us. That s why each of us has a critical role in fulfilling God s vision. God wants to use all of us in what He is building. He is using us to build the places that will reach new people in innovative ways. POPUP Taking church on the road allows us to launch in a new city without all the expenses of a traditional location launch. Our investment has compounded impact as we use the same resources each month. Those attending these locations are then connected into Groups, sent digital content, and encouraged to attend the nearest location until we reach the critical milestones to permanently launch a campus. We re the messengers bringing the greatest message to those who don t even know they need it. BOCA RATON & VERO BEACH God is working each time we pop up in Vero Beach and Boca Raton. With over 350 people attending in Boca Raton and 380 in Vero Beach, it s time to plan to pop up twice a month to make a place for more people to find Jesus. RIVIERA BEACH In 2019 God has also called us to pop up in Riviera Beach. We know that Jesus love will transform lives and God will do incredible things in this community of 33,000 people. 10
expansion WESTLAKE / LOXAHATCHEE We re also going to start popping up this May in Florida s newest city - Westlake. This new municipality in western Palm Beach County will have over 4,500 new homes and thousands of people who need a church home. As we pop up in Westlake, we re praying and preparing for what God has next for us in this community. PRISON locations Florida ranks third in the United States for the largest prison system. We ve had the opportunity to reach into prisons all over our region and be the light in an otherwise dark reality. Each week Christ Fellowship men and women are meeting with inmates, leading Bible studies and praying with people to receive Christ. God has positioned us to be an answer to an epidemic that has plagued our judicial system by bringing the hope and message of Jesus Christ to men and women who are in prison. This year, we will launch two Christ Fellowship campuses within these prisons. Our partnership with the prison system will allow us to increase the frequency and depth of what we get to do as we bring the Gospel, resources, and encouragement into prisons all across Florida. 96,000 number of inmates in the state of Florida prison system 12
CF SEU growth In partnership with Southeastern University in Lakeland, Christ Fellowship launched CFSEU in 2016. Our fully accredited, affordable, private university offers degrees in business, psychology, education, ministry, and worship. We re able to invest into students character while they re preparing for their career. We ve already grown to 120 undergraduate students. This year we will be expanding to include master s level degrees and we re positioning ourselves to extend the invitation for a quality education to students at other churches in our region. 13
PORT ST. LUCIE God is doing awesome things at our Port St. Lucie location as people are finding hope, freedom, and new life through Christ. Now that our new auditorium has opened, we ve seen our parking lots overflow with people coming each week and bringing their friends. We have to make space for them to park easily. This year we want to develop the land adjacent to our building from a grass and dirt field into easily accessible parking spaces. BOYNTON BEACH kids Our CFKids Ministry in Boynton Beach is thriving as new families continue to connect to the campus. We love that so many children are hearing that Jesus is their forever friend and that He has a special purpose for their lives. As the number of children attending has grown, so has the need for refreshed and expanded environments that will ensure that families experience quick and friendly check-in, age-appropriate resources, and life-changing programs. 700 14 average weekly kids attendance
