1 Young Life s mission is the Gospel to every kid. Not just rich kids or poor kids. Not just black kids, brown kids or white kids. Every kid. Not just a lot of kids or even most kids. Every kid. Not just charming kids or beautiful kids. Not just loveable kids or intelligent kids. Every kid. It s a dream worthy of our time. A dream worthy of our energy. A dream worthy of our money. A dream worthy of our lives. PO Box 3257 Ponte Vedra, Florida MAKING ROOM YOUNG LIFE FLORIDA 2018 MINISTRY REPORT
2 In the parable of the great banquet, the master tells his servant to go into the streets and invite the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame. After the servant had done this, he reported, There is still room for more. So his master said, Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full. (Luke 14:22-23) You see, Jesus wants His banquet to be full. That s why we in Young Life go to such great extremes to reach kids. Because Jesus sends us into the streets and the neighborhoods, into the bleachers and the cafeterias, so we can find more. To Jesus, every kid matters. Every kid is worth inviting to the banquet. Every kid deserves a seat at the table. And no matter how many come, there s always room for more. That s why we are adding new beds to Southwind. It s why we are constantly expanding into new schools and cities. It s why we are hiring more staff and increasing the diversity of our ministries and our teams. Everything we do is to make room so that no kid will ever be turned away. There s a big banquet going on right now with Young Life in Florida. But we re not full yet. So we ll keep seeking and pursuing and inviting kids. We ll keep doing everything we can to fill every seat. We ll keep praying and asking and reaching out. Because every kid matters. And there s still room for more. Won t you join us? Frank Ivey Regional Director Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family. You re going to take over whole nations; you re going to resettle abandoned cities. Don t be afraid you re not going to be embarrassed. Don t hold back you re not going to come up short. Isaiah 54:2-4

A future where no kid is turned away. As a result, in 2016 we embarked on an ambitious capital campaign to enhance and enlarge Southwind, doubling the number of beds along the way. So far we have raised $3.9 million towards our $15 million goal, with a new dorm and sports pavilion already completed. Up Next?
