O God of Everlasting Mercy, your Son s message that God s kingdom is open to all people was rejected by many in his hometown. Teach us to be people with open hearts, O Lord. May we look beyond our own personal views and place mercy at the center of our witnessing and relationships. Amen. Jan. 31, 2016

The 2016 ACTS theme Rich in Mercy reminds us that the "balm of mercy" is for everyone to share. Once we have been blessed, we must extend this compassion and mercy to others. Your gift to the Archbishop s Call to Share is such an act, and helps bring the mercy of Jesus to every corner of Northeast Kansas. Please give prayerful consideration to how you can respond as Jesus disciple by filling out your pledge card and returning it to the collection next weekend. The next Baptism Prep Class is Wednesday, February 3 rd, at 6:30 p.m. in the Aquinas Room. If you have not previously attended a class, please call the church office, 913-660-1184, to register.
