Our FREE BLOOD PRESSURE screening service will be on hiatus in July and August. We will re-open on September 5. You are encouraged to check your local drug stores for blood pressure screening services during this time. Holy Family Service Center From an anonymous service center worker who s been volunteering since 2009: It s the greatest job in the world. It s fun. It keeps you young. Cash donations help us buy food from the LA Food Bank, buy toiletries, and pay our bills. All cash donations are helpful to the ministry. Saturdays Hours Begin in September The service center will be open on Saturdays from 9 am to 11:45 am beginning the first Saturday after Labor Day. We are also open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 am to 11:45 am year-round with a break in winter for the Christmas holiday period. Our hot shower and hot breakfast ministry is open on Thursday mornings year- round without a break, except when a holiday falls on Thursday.
