Sing to the Lord and bless God s name; tell the good news of salvation from day to day. Declare God s glory among the nations, God s marvelous works among all the peoples. For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world, and those who live in it. Let the whole creation sing for joy at the presence of God, who is coming. God is coming indeed, to judge the earth with righteousness, and the peoples with equity and truth. Praise the Lord! As we light the Advent candles each week, we see the light gradually increase to a radiant brightness on Christmas Eve. The increasing bright light both flows from Christ and back to him as we wait for the One who has already come. Wills Blosser is serving as acolyte this morning. Our thanks for the instrumentalists for today s services: Raquel Rodriquez, Ann MacMillan, and Robby Garrison trumpets, Eston Bell and Noel Wallace, trombone, Keith Packman, tuba, and Kami Lujan, percussion. We are also grateful for the readers, the Chancel Choir, the Handbell Choir, directed by Jean Harden, organist Parker Hinnenkamp, special guest, Dr. Jesse Eschbach, and our Music Director, Jeffrey Snider. We welcome all, celebrating our differences while finding unity in Christ. No matter who you are or where you are on life s journey, you are welcome here. Join us in the Narthex following worship so that we can get acquainted. If you wish to join St. Andrew today, please speak to one of the ministers. Children s Chapel During the worship service, children ages three years through kindergarten go to chapel immediately following the Children s Sermon. It also provides a place and opportunities for children to begin exploring the purpose and meaning of worship.
