A NOTE FROM FATHER Dear Parishioners, Last Sunday, the Trustees and Administrative Council of St. Peter had an emergency meeting to discuss the sign and air conditioning. We decided to replace the compressor for now, and know that in the long run we will have to replace the whole chiller. At this time, we do not have the money for the full replacement. To cover the cost of the condenser, we have two generous donations, remaining money from the Building Fund of Christ our Life Campaign. We are also moving ahead with the LED road sign. We will be reimbursed by insurance for the replacement costs of the sign once we begin and what money is left over (about $17,000) then can be used for the compressor. In addition to the insurance money, we have money already given for the LED sign and from the Children s fund (the purpose of which is to purchase something special for the building). We began the process of seeking Diocesan approval and ordering the replacement condenser immediately. At time of writing, we have reasonable hope to have it installed this week if not already. The road sign project will begin shortly, too. Thank you for your support and understanding that both projects can be done, and that we are aware of the need for the AC most especially. We thank you for your continual support for our parish. We ask your continued prayers and support of our parish's finances, especially during times of greater needs. We especially ask that you consider signing up for online giving at churchofstpeter.wesharonline.org so your support of our parish can continue, even if you are away for the weekend. In Christ, Fr. Todd JOHN IRELAND NEWS www.churchofstpeter.org/ji We are a Catholic community welcoming students of all faiths, devoted to Gospel Values, Academic Excellence, and Christian Service. Don't forget to include prayer into your summer days! 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time 3

Pallottines is a religious community of over 2300 members spread over several countries in the five continents. It was founded in Rome in 1835 by St. Vincent Pallotti. He is considered the pioneer in championing the role of the Laity in the mission of the Church. We run orphanages for poor boys and girls, run educational institutions, dispensaries and other charitable works along with proclaiming the gospel and faith formation. We undertake many social work programs directly aimed at helping the poor and needy and empowering women. They are happy to share the fact our mission is growing and expanding in India as well as in Zambia. We look forward to your help and support to continue our work. Adoration Family Hour How can families of young children teach their children about adoring our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament? To help our families with young children expose their children to our Lord, we are reserving the hour from 6-7 pm on Thursdays for families. We hope that this will be a great way to help our children become comfortable praying before the Eucharist and allow time for families to pray together. We encourage families of young children to stop in during this hour to begin teaching your children to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Begin with 5 minutes or as long as your children are able. Adults without young children are still welcome at this time. And families are also welcome at any time during Adoration.
