Worship Service Meditation And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13, 14 Prelude Welcome and Announcements Pastor Barry Silent Prayer of Preparation Call to Worship Psalm 145:1-13 *Hymn of Praise O Worship the King #13 *Invocation Confession of Sin Psalm 51:1-17 Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the greatness of Your compassion, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned, and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified when You speak, and blameless when you judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me...purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow...hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from Me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit (Silent Confession) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Assurance of Pardon 1 John 1:1-9

Each committee member reads each applicant s MDF and resume consisting of approximately 10 pages in addition to listening to an average of 6 sermons per week from multiple candidates. The PNC continues to request your prayers for focus, wisdom and discernment as we deliberate on each candidate s application and seek the Lord s guidance for Liberty s next senior pastor.
