SECOND COLLECTIION THIS WEEKEND The second collec on this weekend is for the heat and maintenance funds. Thank you for your generosity! BULLETIN AVAILABLE Our bulle n is available online. We have a website on the Diocesan website. Since I have Google search on my computer I access it by: Holy Mother and Child Corinth or Holy Mother and Child Lake Luzerne. A list of the parishes in the county will pop up. Select Holy Mother and Child Parish and once on our website choose bulle n. Father Ken MASS COUNT At the last Finance Council mee ng it was decided to count a endance each week. Since we are told that by 2020 there will be only 5 priests to cover the parishes in Warren, Washington, Corinth and So. Glens Falls instead of the 10 we have now, no parish will be able to have the number of Masses they now have. We hope these a endance numbers will help us make the decisions we need to in the future. We will report a endance to you in the weekly offering sec on of the bulle n. TV MASS: NEW TIME BEGINNING JANUARY 4 Heart of the Na on s TV Mass for the homebound will move to 6:30 a.m. on WYPX (ION) channel 55, beginning on Sunday, January 4. When you or someone you love cannot get to church because of illness, unsafe driving condi ons, or other struggles, the TV Mass offers spiritual comfort and inspira on. For cable/satellite channels, check your TV lis ngs for WYPX (ION). Video of the TV Mass is also available online at www.hearto hena on.org. Yours in Christ, Fr. Mark Payne, Chaplain RESPECT LIFE RESOURCES For all who support abor on, assisted suicide, euthanasia, the death penalty or other destruc on of human life: that the light of our Chris an witness will guide them to the Lord of Life and Truth; We pray to the Lord. A REMINDER There WILL NOT BE a daily Mass on days when school has been cancelled in either/or both Corinth and Luzerne. COMMUNITY CRISIS FUND (CCF) : HEALTHY AND GRATEFUL Since very early November, when it was reported that our CCF was broke and unable to con nue responding to the needy in our community, the response has been fantas c and blessed. Contribu- ons from parishioners and non-parishioners alike have provided over $5,500, which will enable the Fund to operate un l June, 2015, when proceeds from our next golf tournament will be available. Recognizing everyone who has contributed has been difficult. Some have requested anonymity, some donated cash with no names a ached, and others included notes and/or names on their checks. Thank you cards were sent to everyone possible. I hope the spirit of thanksgiving was transferred to all donors, along with a sense of gra tude from the needy yet to be served, or have already been served since July 1, 2014. Those served total 19, to date.
