New PMDiscipleship Class Do you love photography? Are you looking for a way to serve in your church? Vicki Tayloe is teaching a new PMDiscipleship class, The Photography Ministry of Tri-City Baptist Church. See Vicki for more details and to see how you can use your gifts! IBCS Youth Conference Announcements Veteran s Day Service During our Veterans Day service Sunday, November 11, we will be recognizing all those who have served our country. If you are a veteran and have not filled out a form before, please visit the Welcome Center. If you have filled out a form before and nothing has changed, there is no need to fill out a new form. On November 8-9, International Baptist College & Seminary invites all 7th-12th graders to the 2018 Youth Conference. Our speaker this year will be Pastor Kristopher Schaal. Come enjoy exciting games, good fellowship, and workshops for practical Christian living. Cost: $50. Please register with Pastor Jason (jason.mcdonnell@tricityministries.org). Family News Note From Billy and Sophie Allardice Dear friends at Tri-City Baptist Church, greetings in the Lord from France! It is with the deepest gratitude that we thank you for your gift of $600. Your gift along with others has entirely fulfilled our financial need. The Lord is good and greatly to be praised! Please thank all those who participated in this gift! Book of the Month The Allardices Instruments in the Redeemer s Hands Paul David Tripp helps us discover where change is needed in our own lives and in the lives of others. Following the example of Jesus, Tripp reveals how to get to know people, and how to lovingly speak truth to them. You can purchase it in our bookstore!

Family Fun Night Get Involved! Family Fun Night is this coming Wednesday, October 31. We will need many volunteers for the evening. Pastor Bryan Miller has four different ways you can help with this event: Donate baked goods for the Cake Walk Run games sign up at the Welcome Center Set up and/or tear down sign up at the Welcome Center Donate candy (collection container in the lobby) Volunteers should report to Pastor Bryan in the gym at 5:00 p.m. Around the Corner, Around the World Asian Ministry Outreach and Chinese New Year 2019 is the Year of the Pig, and our Chinese New Year celebration dinner and outreach event has been scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2019. This is a very exciting and growing outreach ministry - think of it as a 3-hour mini-mission trip to Southeast Asia, but right here on our church property when the mission field comes to us. We now have an Asian Ministry fellowship that meets every Sunday evening. Please contact Pastor Jeff Caupp or Dibin Lassila with any questions. Our Multi-cultural Children s Fashion Show in our 2018 event featured 9 countries with 3 moms and 35 kids in various costumes. It was such a hit with our 900+ audience that we plan to put on another show this next year. Parents and grandparents - it s not too early to plan! We are looking for costumes of any culture and cute kiddos ages 10 and under to feature them. Please contact Karen Hollowell or Dibin Lassila if you are interested in having your kids participate. We will also be grateful if anyone will let us borrow costumes from any ethnic background. Thank you for your prayers and support as we reach our neighbors right around the corner and from around the world. Memorizing God's Word in 2018! Week Forty-three : Romans 15:13 (NKJV) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
