CNSS Seudah Season Starts Soon It s that time of year again when the daylight hours get longer, when Shabbat goes out almost barely in time to get home for Match of the Day and no time to do anything much else socially. So why not come back to Shul on Shabbat afternoon for Mincha, Rabbi Epstein s Shiur and a delicious Seudah Shlishit spread? Starting on 7 th May we are looking for volunteers to give a short Dvar Torah (10-15 minutes max) and / or sponsor the Seudah (suggested donation of 50). If you would like to do so please email jonbarron@hazlemsfenton.com as soon as possible. Why not sponsor a celebratory event or make it in memory of somebody? For help with subject content or ideas for a Dvar Torah, please speak to Rabbi Epstein. You are invited... CNSS invites you for an exclusive tour of Audley End, in rural Essex, one of the largest and most opulent houses in Jacobean England. SUNDAY 10 JULY 2016 Audley End, in rural Essex, is one of the most one of the largest and most opulent houses in Jacobean England. We are privileged to be able to offer you the chance to see some of this magnificent English Heritage property. Taking an audio guide, you will be able to admire the interiors of the house, wander the impressive great hall, the magnificent state apartments, intimate dressing rooms, libraries in great detail. You will also then be able to explore some of the highlights from the collection at Audley End, including the state bed, one of the most important surviving late 18thcentury beds in the country, commissioned in anticipation of a royal visit in 1794. Your audio guide will then help you uncover the story behind the Braybrooke's unique natural history collection, and explore the Robert Adam designed suite of eight rooms on the ground floor of the house. There will be an opportunity to explore this decadent Jacobean mansion house and meet the staff in the Victorian Service Wing, then wander the tranquil gardens created by Capability Brown, and enjoy stunning views across the unspoilt Essex countryside. For those of a more equestrian bent, there will be the chance to gallop across to see the horses in the Victorian stable yard. The highlight of our tour will be an exclusive private showing of the magnificent silver collection of Audley End, possibly one of the finest in England today. The cost? 16.50 per person, but you will need to make your own way to the estate. We will try to arrange lifts for those without transport. We have ONLY 40 places allocated and they are being booked rapidly. To make sure of your place, call the synagogue office on 8886 8225. DON T DELAY. CNSS members will be given booking priority.
