Here is what your Council has been up to: Our November meeting was dedicated to those Brother Knights that we have lost this past year with our annual Memorial Mass. This year, we remembered 9 deceased members. The Council also remembered the members of the Ladies Auxiliary that died this year. There was a great turnout by members and refreshments were served afterwards. A big Thank You to the 4 th Degree Knights who served as Honor Guard for this event. The Council hosted a Major Degree at the Hall on November 18 th. A total of 3 Brother Knights received their 3 rd Degree at this event. Thank You to all who participated at this event. Don t forget that the Hall will be open on New Year s Day for our annual Open House. This is when members can come in and pay their annual dues. There will be more information in next month s newsletter. In next month s newsletter, we will have the results of our annual Coats for Kids drive. We are always looking for volunteers to help with our Tuesday Night Dinners and Raffle, and our Friday Night. Please consider helping on some Tuesday or Friday night. Or just come out to have dinner on one of those nights, to help support your Council. We thank all those who continue to help. You make the dinners a success. As always, please recruit a Catholic gentleman to join our order. Form 100 s are located in the office at the Hall. Please talk to our agent Clint Coulter about insurance. The Council need 26 new members in this fiscal year to attain Star Council. I think we can do it. Do you know a Catholic Gentleman to ask? Our next Council Meeting will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 7:00 pm. One week prior to that date (December 13, 2018) will be the Third-Degree Club Board of Director s Meeting at 5:00pm, and the Council Officer s Meeting following at 6:00pm. All meetings will take place at the Hall. Take time during this season of Advent to spend time with family, and to praise our Lord Jesus Christ for the many blessings that we have in our life. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Until next month my friends, Vivat Jesus, Ed
