2018 Year-End Contributions and Future Planning In this season of giving, consider making a year-end gift to our parish in gratitude for all the blessings you have received in life. As you plan to make the most of your charitable donations in 2018, know that we gratefully accept gifts of cash and appreciated assets such as stocks or bonds. If you are 70 1/2 or older, you may be able to reduce your taxable income this year and help our ministry with a gift made directly from your IRA to our parish. Talk to your advisors and IRA administrator for more information and to be sure that a gift is made directly from an IRA to a qualified charity such as our parish. 2019 Calendar Lottery The 2019 Saint Clare Calendar Lottery tickets with donations are being received in the business office. The drawings begin January 1. You can return the calendar stubs with your donation in the collection basket during Mass, by mail or in person, at the business office. Proceeds go to the General Fund. Call or stop in at the business office for additional tickets. You can return them all year. The sooner you play, the more drawings you are eligible to win. There is a winner each day of the year, and this year you have 365 opportunities! Opening the Mass Book We will be opening the Mass Book for the second half of 2019 on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.
