Discovering the Sacred Within COVENANT FOR 2019 A YEAR OF THE GRACE TO DREAM I,, a child of God, promise to use my gifts and energies in the New Year to discover the sacred within me and all people. Through prayer, reading, and meditation I will come to a better understanding of God s Love for me and how that Love can bring healing and change into my life. Each day I will make a conscious effort to allow the word of God, as rich as it is, to take root in my life in order that I might develop the attitude of Christ. I will become more aware of the grace I have to make choices that bring healing and peace of mind into my life. I will recognize that each choice I make has the potential to transform my life, that I might reflect the goodness of God that resides within me. I will become a person of hope and light by acknowledging the potential that lies within my soul. I will endeavor in thought, word, and deed to surround myself with the presence of the sacred in my life. I will allow my prayer to be a voice to unite myself to all of God s creation, the Body of Christ. I will spend time in gratitude and reflection, emphasizing the goodness that God has given me. I will learn to say never again to habits in thought, word, and deed that may bring harm or injury to the Body of Christ to which I am honored to belong. I will attempt to make each day a new day of creation. This vow I make to my Loving God that I might live in honor of all that He has given to me. Name Date Work is love made visible The essence of healing is the key to dealing with fear Until we accept the fact that life itself is found in mystery, we shall learn nothing That souls should always stand ajar to welcome The ecstatic experience The soul becomes dyed with the color of it s thoughts What your heart thinks great, is great the souls emphasis is always right Nothing can bring you peace but yourself; Nothing can bring you peace but the triumph of principles Hiding separates; openness unites 7
