Lion Dick Tuttle led is in singing America and President Bill led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Forty five Lions and one guest were in attendance. OUR GUESTS: Liza Baum, guest of Lion Marshall Baum. CONCERNS: Lions Gary Warner, Dave White, Maureen Rice, and Tom Gustin continue to need our prayers. Please keep the family of Tom Seely in your prayers. Tom passed away this past weekend. Lion Judy Hempstead. Judy had surgery today and is now home. Also add the family of Mary Griesheimer in your prayers. Mary passed away on Sunday. GOOD NEWS: Lion Dave Weber reports that the local Shop with a Cop program was held this weekend. 64 needy kids will have a nice Christmas! Lions Mike and Dee Hathaway are back! This coming Saturday we will receive one extra minute of daylight!

PRAYER: Lion Gene Oliver. TONIGHT S MEAL: Poland Park Pasta, tossed salad, crescent roll, and pie for dessert. OUR COOKS: Lions Joe Sharp, Janie Demint, Terry Hines, Ryan Sutton, Stew Skinner, Arlan Cox, Gene Donahue, Jerry Powers, and Neal Senff. SECRETARY S REPORT: Lion Joy Cox had several items to report: 2019 Ohio Lions Winter Retreat 10th Anniversary is at Maumee State Park January 18, 19, and 20. Lion Joy is collecting dues for the second half. Eleven members who still owe dues have received an invoice. We received a $100 donation in memory of Frances Siberell. TREASURER'S REPORT: Lion Becky Hines said that from now forward contributions to George's Kids drawing will be carried over to next year's Christmas project. BOD MEETING: After this one. JANUARY COOKS AND CLEANUP CREW: Chair: A. Hamburger, Vice-Chair: C. Powell, Members: F. Hempstead, J. Hempstead, J. Nickoli, D. Proehl, S. Senff, M. Stephens, B. Wheeler, H. Zickafoose. CHRISTMAS PARTY : Lion Sheila Blevins said the committee did a great job, the party went well and everyone had a great time! LEO'S: Lion Nicole Wells said the LEO's will be taking the next 4 weeks off. SEEDS OF HOPE: Lion Nicole reported that the shelter continues to operate at full capacity. She also said that the shelter has a new Executive Director. PARKING LOT: Lion Marshall Baum asked when the handicapped parking spots in the parking lot will be striped. President Bill said the striping will have to wait until the lot is resealed in the spring.

GEORGE S CHRISTMAS KIDS: Lion Neal said that food and presents were delivered to OU-C December 14th. There were plenty of Lions willing to play Santa to get the delivery done. Lion Neal also said 23 kids will now have a Merry Christmas thanks to the generosity of club members! AWARD: President Bill called The following Lions forward and presented them with a Centennial Award pin. TAIL TWISTER REPORT: Lion Roger Geise said he took in $1.00 this evening. SCAM: Several of our officers received an email request purportedly from our president for gift cards. If you receive such a request, ignore it because President Bill did not send the message. FISH FRY DATES 2019: Next year's fish fries will be held on 4/5, 5/10, 6/7, and 9/13. MEMBER PINS: Lion Dee has some extra member pins if you have lost yours. EYEGLASSES: Lion Roger said we received requests from 3 area schools for assistance in purchasing eyeglasses for children. He will follow through to fill the requests. DISTRICT CALENDAR January 18-20 Winter Retreat at Maumee. April 12-13 District 13 OH6 Convention at Blue Ash. May 17-19 State Convention at Dublin. July 5-9 International Convention at Milan, Italy. CLUB CALENDAR: December 25 NO MEETING January 1 NO MEETING January 8th-OUR NEXT MEETING DRAWINGS: Weekly: Lion Neal Senff won $10.00! 50/50: Lion Mike Magill won $20.00! Joker: The pot has grown to $138.00. There are 44 cards in the deck. Our lucky ticket holder was Lion Stew Skinner! Lion Stew couldn't find the Joker (he drew the Nine of Clubs) so he received a nice cereal spoon as a consolation prize. George's Kids: Lion Joanne Tuttle won $21.50! BOD MEETING: The Board approved the membership applications of Lynda Jones and Tina Truman.
