SAVE THE DATE: Walking Alongside: Youth and Mental Health - Join us Saturday, April 27, 2019, 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, at Westdale Reformed Church in Hamilton, Ontario for a training event on youth and mental health, open to youth and youth leaders, pastors, parents, teachers, disability advocates, service providers, coaches, and other community volunteers. Keynote speaker: Stephen Doucet Campbell, a registered psychotherapist at Shalem Mental Health Network, with experience serving youth with depression, anxiety, and addiction. FAMILY FAITH FORMATION TIP: It s easy for kids to think of Bible people like Moses as David as mythical characters rather than real, flesh and blood, flawed people. When you read Bible stories where the main character does something wrong (and there are many!), emphasize that God works through imperfect people, even when they make mistakes. And share stories with your kids of how God is at work in your own imperfect life.
