CHS Family Fun Fest: Church of the Holy Spirit conducted their Family Fun Fest on Thursday, June 25th through Sunday, June 28th. The Hoffman-Schaumburg Council 6964 knights were there to assist. From Parking lot attendants to Beer vendors to Entertainers, the Knights were there in force to help out. Our very own Knight, Paul Kutylo and his group entertained there, as well as at our St. Pat's Party Who else to help run the Beer Booth than an our own Knight Tim Figiel (pictured here on the left) ******************************************************************************************** Council Picnic: Mark the date, July 26th. will be the date of the Council Picnic. It will be held in the field next to St. Matthew to the West. Kevin Thomas will be chairing this event and should have a sign up sheet available if you can help. It will be a fun time for all. For any newcomers, Check out the "Knight Lines" from August of last year. Plenty of food & drink, games, water balloons, a "Jumpy Tent" and much more. The entire family is welcome. Assuming the prices don't change, they were $5 for an individual and $10 for a family (to help cover the cost of the refreshments). The "200" Raffle: Tickets winners will be drawn at this event. "200" Raffle Tickets will also be sold after all masses at St. Hubert on July 18th & 19th. There will be a sign up sheet at the July 9th. meeting, or just show up to help. ******************************************************************************** 40 Cans for Lent: With the very Generous help of Tim Figiel, we met our goal of 1,000 pounds of food collected. With his help, our council received a rebate check from Supreme in the amount of $100.00. Thank you Tim for your generous donation. ********************************************************************* Blood Drive Pictures: I have not heard anything from Supreme about the pictures/videos taken at the last blood drive at St. Hubert. When we find out, I will let all of you know the details. ********************************************************************* The McGivney House Golf Outing: was a big success and raised about $12,000 for the McGivney House, Hope & Healing Fund. Thanks to all from our council that participated in this event on June 22nd.

4th. of July Parade: Dick Kossack headed up this event but was unable to participate as he always does. He injured his ribs in an accident and had to sit this one out. Stanley Cup Playoff Party: Thanks to Dick Lambke for organizing and running the Game 4 Stanley Cup Finals party at CHS. The game was projected onto a large screen in the church's Rec center. A great night for fellowship and exciting playoff action for the eventual Stanley Cup Winners. ******************************************************************************** Chick-Fil-A Fundraiser: SK Kevin Thomas reported a total of $82.68 raised at this event held at both Chick-Fil-a locations in Schaumburg on Wednesday May 13th. The money raised was given to the St. Hubert's youth Ministry. Chevy's Fund Raiser: Walter Watts ran this event held at Chevy's in Schaumburg on Tuesday, June 16th.
