June 26, 2016 We Care Because We Pray FIESTA 2016: CELEBRATION! www.ssaparish.com Forbes Park, Makati Santuario de San Antonio Parish Office Tel. nos. 8438830-31

FROM THE DESK OF THE PARISH PRIEST Fr. Reu Jose C. Galoy, OFM, Parish Priest FROM THE DESK OF THE PPC PRESIDENT Edmund Lim, KHS Beloved Co-Stewards and Servants of the Lord Pax et bonum! The overall result of our fiesta celebration is both a humbling and heart-warming experience. It was a humbling experience because God s spirit of unconditional generosity is once again manifested in and through the overflowing support of our benefactors, donors and devotees. Our goal was simple. We prayed and worked hard collectively and joyfully. The blessings we received will now include the possibility of upgrading our sound system, aside from the digital scanning of our parish church structure. Likewise, it was a heart-warming experience because it has become a celebration that recognizes simple gestures of cooperation and participation an expression of joyful service of a journeying faith community. It was an inspiration that began from within our parish community yet ends up in ministering those who may have less in life and made us more selfless servants of God. In behalf of the Pastoral Team, Parish Council, and the Fiesta Committee, please allow me to express my profound gratitude to all those who in one way or another made himself or herself part of our celebration. Every presence and participation has been God s gift to our parish fiesta. We might have started to perform a particular function for our fiesta activities - God s wonderful blessing to each of us and to our parish community is transformation of our functions into friendship. Truly, God s generosity can never be outdone especially when we serve our parish with an authentic motivation and honestly desire to follow God s will. MARAMING SALAMAT PO!!! Your co-journeyer in faith and service, Fr. Reu Jose C. Galoy, OFM 2 It was a humbling experience because God s spirit of unconditional generosity is once again manifested in and through the overflowing support of our benefactors, donors and devotees. F iesta 2016 was a joyous occasion made possible by the spirit of cooperation and participation of everyone in our parish. In this Fiesta, we embodied a loving community that worked hard and celebrated harder throughout the Fiesta. I would like to thank everyone who participated in our Fiesta activities especially those listed below: To the CWL, headed by J net Zulueta, for leading the Feeding of the Poor, Medical Mission, Mass Baptism, Mass Confirmation and Mass Wedding. To our parish Youth Group, led by Karen and Jaime Blanco, for organizing the Youth Day. To Patrick Uy and devotee, Alexander Amora, for providing photography coverage. To all our florists, Ramon Pastor, Mabolo Flower Shop, and Gli Gallego and Elvira Dayrit, for donating the flowers in the novena masses and procession. To the Altar Environment Ministry, led by Wilma Huang & Zari Poe, for the beautification of the church. To Bingbing Quiros who generously donated the gazebo in the Convento Garden. To the Marian Cenacle for their loyal patronage of our annual celebration. Special Gratitude to the Family of Aurora Dionisio who provided the fiesta band year in and year out during our processions. To Mario Katigbak and his team for helping us organize a most enjoyable Fiesta Dinner along with his sponsorship of the dinner band. To Belen, Bernadette, Mimi and the other members of the SSAP staff for helping during the whole fiesta period. To the volunteer Lectors and Commentators as well as all our choir groups who served at the daily Novena & Feast day Masses (Vosa, Vocalismo Choral Group, Serviam, Koro Illustrado, Psalm 47 male Choral, Coro Ecclesiastico, and Coro de San Antonio). To Jun Rodriguez and members of the EMHC who served during the Novena and Fiesta masses. To Mrs. Rita Cruz who provided heartwarming encouragement throughout the Fiesta. To the Worship Committee, led by Girlie Sison, and Dee Chan for close coordination of all masses, processions and novenas. To PPC Secretary Mrs Suzette Gatmaitan and PPC Vice President Tina Teehankee for sharing their wisdom and giving their unwavering support. To all those who purchased tickets to our fiesta dinner celebration. To our parishioners who took part and gave generously in our novena envelopes. To our Novena Mass donors, (CCD, the Guevara Family, the Moreno Family, Mrs. Vicky Chan, Mrs. Petrona Lim, OFS, Mrs. Mary Rufino, CWL, the Bautista Family, the Walking group, and the Dayrit Sisters) we thank you for you kind generosity in answering the call and with your generosity, we were able to fund all the CWL-led Fiesta Outreach programs. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our major Benefactors who answered the pleas and letters of our fiesta committee. Without your major support, our project, which has now been signed, sealed and about to commence, will not have been possible. To our parish priest Fr. Reu for gently guiding us. To Mrs. Carina Lebron for proposing the scanning of our church and to our Chairperson Counsul Helen Ong of Angola for agreeing to lead Fiesta Committee 2016. And finally to our patron Saint Anthony of Padua for interceding for us and for all the prayers answered. It is the generosity of you ALL that now makes the next stage of our parish possible. Now the work for our PPC Execom begins. May we all continue this journey together as GOD WILLS IT. DEUS LO VULT! Your Servant always, Edmund Lim, KHS Santuario de San Antonio Pastoral Team Fr.
