No other structure can replace the family. It is the Center of our affection, love, solidarity and communion; it is the foundation of human relationships. The Holy Family; Mary, Joseph and Jesus, were ordinary people in every aspect. They faced the struggles of the day and constantly struggled to find God s will in their lives. In spite of the challenges, they succeeded in keeping their family holy and happy. A happy Christian family is not complete without Christ. Next Sunday January 6, 2019 Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord Second Collection Building Maintenance Learn Swahili with Fr. Chumo Happy New Year! = Heri ya Mwaka Mpya! Mungu atulinde mwaka mpya = may God protect us in the new year. Mungu ni mwema = God is good YOUTH CORNER New Year, New Opportunities Happy 2019! We have no idea what the New Year has for us. One thing we are sure of is God s love for us. As St. Paul would say what can separate us from the love of God 1 cor. 8. We enter into the New Year full trust and confidence in God s unchanging love and providence. 2018 is now behind us. We thank God for what we were able to achieve, and especially for the grace to keep our faith in the midst of great challenges. In the New Year we must look for new opportunities to deepen our faith, grow in the love of God and in Charity, deepen our hunger for Jesus, the Bread of life, find ways and means to deepen our faith through on-going catechesis, encouraging devotions, organize parish missions, at least once a year and intensify outreach initiatives at all levels, especially to the youth and young families. We encourage parishioners and all ministries to share their ideas around the above mentioned areas to help our parish to faithfully and successfully fulfil the mission of Christ. May Mary pray for us as we step into the unknown future, she who was the first to trust and believe in the Word of God.
