MATTHEW MICHAEL BROWN, DEAN E-MAIL: MATTHEW@FUMCSALISBURY.ORG OFFICE: (704) 636-3121, EXTENSION 104 Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or joys to share. DEAN S MESSAGE Dear Chapter Friends, I wish to begin by thanking the Charlotte AGO for the trust and support you have given me and our Chapter leadership over the past three years. Serving as Dean of this organization has been a distinguished honor. It has been a tremendous joy getting to know each of you better and building lasting friendships through our mutual affection for the King of Instruments! I am very proud of the resiliency of the Charlotte AGO Chapter. As my predecessors will acknowledge, being a leader comes with its share of challenges. The Charlotte AGO Chapter has accomplished much in recent years, and I am delighted to see new members joining, veteran members engaged, and the pipe organ being a vital presence in the City of Charlotte! I have every confidence my colleague and friend, Jane Cain, will do exceptional work as your new Dean. I have pledged my support of her efforts and the continued vision of the new Executive Board and Officers. I encourage everyone to find a way to contribute and provide faithful service to our organization. The Charlotte AGO is one of the largest and most financially stable AGO Chapters in the USA, and I know great things are ahead for its continued success in the years to come! I look forward to seeing many of you at our recitals throughout the summer! Make plans to attend and bring a friend along! Thank you again for allowing me the great honor of serving as your Dean. Please do stay in touch! Onward, Matthew
