Foremost is the dearth of meeting places in our area. Providence Community Center has stated that we can have the meeting room from either 9AM - 1PM or 12-4PM. Also all of the dates we want may not be available. HOOT is holding its last convention in 2019 and has departed from the usual August time to July resulting in us changing our Luncheon date to 27 July (voted on at the September meeting) It is becoming more difficult to conduct elaborate luncheons and therefor harder to get volunteers for the committee. The Board is seeking ways to modify this without destroying the elegance of the Luncheon. Seminar needs a chair and committee and input from you as to whether to hold seminars and what teachers to invite. Over the next couple of meetings we will be discussing the above items and would appreciate membership input, so please plan to attend. Not only will you be helping the Chapter, you will have a good time painting. Regards. Marie and John If someone tells you that you have enough art supplies and you don t need any more, stop talking to them. You don t need that kind of negativity in your life Anon
