Historiclly, Christins hve been (t best) ptic bout our responsibility s environmentl stewrds, if not outright neglectful. This is uncceptble. would suggest re re three importnt resons Christins should get involved in tckling environmentl issues, prticulrly climte chnge: 1) in order to furr gospel, 2) becuse involvement hs significnt prcticl benefits, 3) becuse God's word comms it. The church hs been content to let seculrists hippies comm stge on environmentl issues. While Christinity hs been on forefront of previous justice issues from bolition to universl suffrge re hs been no corresponding enthusism ws once n pthy throughout society is now phenomenon incresingly specific to church.
